Host: You all have a lot of great questions for Darrah, so let's get begin! Are you ready to take some questions?
Darrah: Yeah.
dizzyupthegirls: Have your friends and family treated you any differently since returning from the island?
Darrah: No, they haven't. They're all supportive, kind of sad I didn't win and that I should have, but they're all excited that I finished fourth.
Darrahfannumber1: Darrah, you are hot. Did you think Jon was a good player or a dirty cheater?
Darrah: Well, thanks for the compliment. I think Jon is an awesome player. I think he played the game better than anyone else, but like he told me, he played great up until the end. He screwed both of us up by going to Sandra and Lill and having them vote me off, instead of going to me and Sandra and voting me off. That way Jon and I would've ended up in the final two because I know I would have won the immunity and taken Jon. So, Jon's a great player and he did lie a lot, but that's what the game's about.
jeany: Darrah, Did you tell Burton and Jon that Lill wanted to vote Burton out next before they left for their reward?
Darrah: Yeah, actually I did tell Burton that because out there you can't really trust anyone. I didn't know if Lill was lying to me or not by telling me that, so yeah, I did tell Burton that before he went.
iloverupert: Darrah, is it true all you talked about on the island was "boob jobs and chocolate chip cookies?"
Darrah: Yeah, actually I did talk about chocolate chip cookies like everyone else talked about other things. When you're out there starving to death you think about food. No, I did not think about a boob job every five minutes as Christa would say. She really didn't know what world she was in when she was out there. I may have mentioned it but I didn't harp on it. I did talk about chocolate chip cookies and I might have mentioned the boob job but I didn't harp on it.
algorithm: Hey Darrah, will you pose for Playboy?
Darrah: I have said before if the money is right, why not? But I might have to think about...but...if the money's right--why not?
t1222: Darrah, I loved your audition video and the "Six Feet Under" feel to it. How did you come up with that montage?
Darrah: Actually, I didn't come up with that--a couple of my mom's friends did and put it together. We did it and it turned out good.
justwhatever: Did you get tired of people's comments about your accent?
Darrah: No. No one really made fun of my accent except for Christa, and hers was ten times worse. Actually, everyone loved my accent and wanted me to say stuff so they could hear it. Who doesn't love a southern accent?
algorithm: Hey Darrah, do you have any crush on Ryan O?
Darrah: No, I do not have a crush on Ryan O. I have a boyfriend of two and a half years. We just had an alliance out there and became really close friends like I did with everyone else on my tribe except for Ryan S. and Lill. So, no I didn't have a crush on him. He's more or less like my older brother.
pelican: Darrah, you're hot! What was your funniest moment on the island?
Darrah: There are so many, I can't think of one off hand. When we were at the Morgan tribe we sat around telling jokes all day and we laughed a lot.
survivorfan18: Darrah, was it hard for you to keep the secret of how well you did?
Darrah: Oh, it was really hard, and so funny sitting around watching it with my family and friends, with them trying to guess and tell me what was going to happen and who was going to go next. It was really hard to keep from telling them, but I did keep it a secret.
Crimson: Why didn't you hit it off with Ryan S and Lill?
Darrah: Well, actually, Ryan S. I had no problem with. He's a sweet, super nice guy. I didn't get to know him well because he and Lill were in an alliance and they really didn't have much to do with the other people. Lill and I didn't get along well because she started judging me from day one and was comparing me to Jenna from Amazon. Lill didn't like me also because I was closer with the younger guys and they didn't like her because she was older, which had nothing to do with it.
AZ_girlie: Was it embarrassing to keep losing your top in some of the challenges? and to see it on TV??
Darrah: [laughs] No, it wasn't embarrassing at all because everyone out there had seen pretty much everyone's bodies. When you're in water like that you're going to lose something. It's the last thing you're worried about out there, you're thinking about winning the challenge, not losing your top. It didn't embarrass me.
godzthor1: Darrah, did you get mad at your boyfriend for forgetting your favorite meal?
Darrah: No, I didn't get mad at him because that was a set up. He actually didn't answer the questions right because he didn't want us to go off by ourselves and leave people behind to talk about me. So, it was a smart thing and he'd thought of it. I was mad while I was out there...I was kind of upset, like why he didn't know my stuff? But he told me when I got back that he did it because he didn't want me to be away and I thought that was really smart of him.
JonHater: On a deserted island, who would you rather have with you, a corpse or Jonny Rotten?
Darrah: Jonny Rotten. [laughs]
harmony: Darrah, if you arm-wrestled Osten who would win?
Darrah: Me, definitely! [laughs] Nah, just kiddin'. Osten's a pretty tough guy. Even though, I did slam Christa in the water!!
unstuck: Darrah, how did you feel when you saw the show and found out that Sandra threw out the fish?
Darrah: I knew before we left Panama that she threw out the fish because she'd told me that she did. I wasn't upset about it I thought it was kind of funny that everyone thought Christa did it and that she was bawling her eyes out. I thought that was pretty funny.
Benn: Darrah you were awesome on the show! What do you think about the guys stripping in the first challenge?
Darrah: [laughs] I was thinking "what's going on?" I had no idea why they did that. There was no reason other than I think before the challenge someone said if they had taken off their pants or shorts that all of them would do it. Other than that, I think one of them just lost their pants so the rest took them off because of the agreement. I don't remember which one of them made the agreement in the first place.
LilLostandImGlad: Darrah, i thought you did a good job, but why tell Lill you wouldn't take her to the finals? Was that the nail in the coffin?
Darrah: Actually, no, that wasn't the final nail in my coffin. I did tell Lill, I'd already told her I'd take her to the final two and also told Jon too and that's why he put me on the spot -- to see who I'd say. I knew since I was gone all day doing interviews, they didn't want to take me because they knew I'd beat them. That was Jon's idea to vote me off. He turned them against me and screwed himself because we were going to be in the final two...but...*sigh*...were not.
RaZor: Darrah, who would you have taken to the final two had you gotten that far?
Darrah: I would have definitely take Jon to the final two if I'd gotten that far. I think I would have gotten the majority of the votes...or maybe even Lill considering that nobody really liked her. Either Jon or Lill.
Jon_sucks: Darrah, could you have beaten Lill in the final immunity challege?
Darrah: Hands down, most definitely. I could have stayed out there all day. That challenge wasn't that hard.
Philly: Darrah, were you upset with your editing? They hardly showed you at all until you starting winning challenges.
Darrah: No, I wasn't upset with. I knew that's how it was going to be edited because I'd won three immunity challenges in a row. I knew that they'd hold out until the end to show me more.
I_Wuv_Darrah: Darrah, who did you think was coming back from the Outcast? I love you bunches!
Darrah: I think we'd already decided that Lill and Burton would be the final ones back, but were hoping for Burton to come back on our tribe because no one really cared for Lill.
Suvivorfan101: Darrah, how much did you hate Christa out there? Do you still not like her that much?
Darrah: No, I really didn't like her at all out there. Her elevator didn't go all the way to the top and I wasn't used to people like that. Now...she's all right, but she's still not someone I'd enjoy going to see or talking to.
Collegeguy: Darrah, you told Jeff at the reunion that you are going back to school. Where do you go to school and what for?
Darrah: Actually, I have applied to get into dental hygiene school at UMC, so I'm waiting to see if I got in. I won't hear until March.
RUPERTSloveCHILD: Darrah, did you ever trust Jon?
Darrah: No, I never trusted Jon because he's such a good player. If he wanted you gone, you were gone. He could tell anyone and they could believe it so I never trusted him. He turned on me in the end and he regrets it totally.
CerebralGamePlayer: Darrah, you made so many people down south proud of you. What do you feel was your strength?
Darrah: Probably my physical strength, even though I was the smallest one out there. I won three immunity challenges in a row which no one ever would have thought I could do. That was probably my biggest strength.
.... to be continued

Legend41: Hello Darrah, you amazed me with the three straight immunities! Were you holding back?
Darrah: No, I mean, I tried my hardest on the other ones, but I tried even harder towards the end. If you watched all the episodes, they wanted to vote me off each time, so I knew I had to win. So, I won all three but not the one I needed the most--the one against the jury.
Survivorcrazy: Darrah, who did you think was the most attractive guy on the island?
Darrah: I think all the guys on our tribe were probably most attractive of all but no one specific.
akgurl23: Seems like at one point, you were ready to go home. What turned things around for you?
Darrah: I was never ready to go home, it was edited that way. Where they said that it wasn't even in the right place...I had my swimsuit on and didn't get my swimsuit til two challenges later. I never said that I was ready to go home, but Rupert said I was ready to go home. I never, ever said it. That was the only night I was packing my stuff, the night I got voted off. they put that in the wrong spot. When Rupert got voted off, I was acting, I knew he was going home. The editing was put in the wrong spot.
Scotti: Darrah, did you watch any other Survivors shows, and if so, who was your favorite player?
Darrah: I did watch all the others except the very first Survivor. My favorite was probably Big Tom just because he's country and was a funny character. He was one of my favorites, and then Colby was probably my other favorite.
cajunwuman: What did you learn about yourself after being on Survivor?
Darrah: I learned to never throw away food...[laughs] I usually would never eat leftovers and now I do so I learned not to throw away food and cherish all the food that I have.
di5c0diva: Darrah, you seemed taken aback when Jeff mentioned you "worked with dead people." Were you at all offended by that?
Darrah: No, I'm not offended by that. I would have never gone to school for that if I thought I'd be offended by it.
gogogadget: In the final Immunity Challenge, did you think that was fair that five people in the jury got to make a decision together against each of you individually?
Darrah: No, I don't think it's fair. We're out there having to fight for ourselves and they have a group of them putting all their minds together to form an answer. I don't think it's fair, but it's Survivor and you never know what's going to happen.
HattiesburgSurvivor: Darrah, do you plan on moving out of Southern Mississsippi now that you are back?
Darrah: No, I'm not going to move out of Mississippi unless I get some sort of modeling career going on. For right now I'm going to be here.
Georgiaboy: Darrah, did they edit out anything that you wished that had shown?
Darrah: Yeah, I do wish they'd have shown more of our tribe during the day. We were like a big family sitting around talking, laughing, cutting up and getting along really well all day. It made us look like we didn't get along at all. They never showed us eating and although we didn't have that much food we did it. They didn't show us going out and getting mussels.
WindyCityJo: Darrah, what was in you bag that you wished you'd had on the island?
Darrah: My toothbrush! I wish I would've had a toothbrush and my ponytail holder. My toothbrush is probably one of my best friends. [laughs] So, it was kind of hard not having a toothbrush and not being able to brush my teeth, but I did get to brush my teeth at the Reward Challenge.
kissitjon: Darrah, which was harder to stomach: the Survivor smoothie, or Jon's come-ons?
Darrah: The smoothie most definitely. You can ignore Jon but you have to get the smoothie down. It didn't taste that bad but the smell made me gag.
lilly: Did the Outcasts discuss where they were and what they were doing when they were voted out the first time?
Darrah: I asked Lill what they'd been doing, if they'd been eating or sleeping and she said they'd been living like us, which we knew was a lie. They had a bed, a cold shower. They had chicken and eggs, clean bottled water. They had a lot I guess...but they really knew what they were doing.
AUSTRALIALuvsDARRAH: How did you keep your teeth so white, you gorgeous thing?
Darrah: I'd pull off some bamboo and it was frayed on the ends so I scraped them. It was halfway decent...at least they weren't slimey.
Valmcp: Hi Darrah! Which of the castmates will you keep in contact with and who else would rather not cross paths with again?
Darrah: I'm probably going to keep in contact with Tijuana, Osten, Ryan O., Andrew, Shawn and probably Jon. The ones I don't even care to look at again are Lill or Christa. I could care less about those two.
Scotti: Darrah, how often were you individually interviewed?
Darrah: Oh, all day...I mean, they take us off all during the day anywhere from five and ten minutes. Except for the last day I was voted off, I was gone for half the day. I think it was intentional. I was gone and interviewed more than any of the other ones that day.
kellb: Darrah, have you ever tried out for other Survivor seasons?
Darrah: No, this was the first one I tried out for, and I got picked.
luvSurvivor: If you could create a challenge for the next group of Survivors, what would it be?
Darrah: I don't know what it'd be but I know it'd be physical instead of mental. [laughs] Any kind of physical challenge over a mental challenge.
dett: Darrah, what made you want to be a mortician?
Darrah: Growing up I always wanted to be a nurse and everyone was going to be a nurse, so I thought I'd do something more interesting. I went to school for that, but I couldn't find a full time job in Mississippi so that's why I'm going back to school.
sandrarox: Darrah, which Survivor series would you have liked to have been on other than Pearl Islands?
Darrah: Outback. I just liked the atmosphere of the Outback, with all the different animals and the wilderness. I like all that sort of stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like the Pearl Island but if I had to pick another one, that's what it'd be.
chickindasouth16: Other then yourself, who is one person you would have liked to see win a million dollars?
Darrah: I would have to say Sandra, because I think she needed the money. Her or Rupert. If I had to pick someone besides myself, I'd say Sandra or Rupert.
DarrahRocks: Darrah, what happened to the shower stuff after y'all merged?
Darrah: We took it with us to the merge. We actually used it a pretty good bit but they never showed us out there using the soap and shampoo but everyone used it so we did get to take it with us.
chickindasouth16: Who was your least favorite Survivor castmate of all time?
Darrah: I would have to say probably Christa being that I was out there with her. I'm not sure how the other ones out there were considering what they show. I'd have to say Christa because we just didn't click.
GoDarrah: What was your initial impression of Rupert and how did it change as you grew to know him and then eventually see him on the show afterwards?
Darrah: I liked Rupert. I didn't get to know him that well. He was only out there not too much longer after I got there. I thought that his tribemates were pretty much scared of him and that's why they didn't vote him off. I think they kept him around because he got the food. I didn't think he needed to get all that food because we were out there starving and we made it. Rupert is a good guy. He looks like a scary man but he's really like a big teddy bear and he'd do absolutely anything for anybody...except maybe for Jon.
taylorangel: Does this game ever get to the point that the money is no longer on your mind and you're there for other reasons?
Darrah: Yeah, of course the money's on your mind, because that's what you're there for. It never really leave your mind...except sometimes because you're having a good time with these people who have become your friends. Yeah, sometimes the money leaves your mind and sometimes it doesn't.
JonJack: What did you think of Jonny Jackass running around naked?
Darrah: [laughs] He was drunk when he did that. I didn't see it because it was before the merge. I thought it was kind of funny because he weighs about a hundred pounds. That's just how he is--I wasn't shocked by it.
QuinntheEskimo: After the food providers left. how well did you eat in the last few days?
Darrah: We ate just fine. We had tons of mussels, and it wasn't any different after Burton left. We didn't have any fish. We were living off of rice and beans anyway so I was used to it.
BigBertha: With Jon trying to look for someone to punch him, would you have loved for Rupert to hit him?
Darrah: [laughs] Actually, yeah, I would have liked to have seen Rupert hit him. It would've been funny. Rupert's smarter than that because if you hit somebody you get kicked off, but it would have been funny and I think half of the viewers would have loved it.
chickindasouth16: Did any of your opions of people change after you saw the show?
Darrah: No, not really. Not at all. The way that they were shown was how I knew them out there. I didn't have any opinions change at all.
FireyRedTU: Darrah, what was your impression of Osten and how he was scared of practically everything?
Darrah: [laughs] I thought it was kind of funny--this big, huge guy is scared of itty bitty pelicans and every time the wind would blow at night and the trees would move he thought something was coming out of the woods. It was funny, but he was just a funny type of guy.
kissitjon: Were most people playing a part for the camera, or were they playing themselves?
Darrah: I think everybody was playing for the camera. I know the way I was playing out there is not how I am in real life. I was a bit quieter and I didn't want to be the one whose name was brought up all the time for getting into it with somebody. Normally I speak my mind, but I didn't out there because I didn't want to get voted off. I guess it helped...laying low and staying under the radar is what got me further.
JEFFisHOT: Darrah, what was the biggest surprise to you while watching the show?
Darrah: The biggest surprise ever was that Burton won the truck. The Outcasts...Burton won a truck, Lill came in second...it's funny how it worked out. That was probably the biggest surprise of all.
AmberRose: Hey D! Overall, was this a good experience? If you could do it again, would you?
Darrah: Yeah, this is the best experience I ever had and would do it again if I had the chance. I probably wouldn't change anything at all and play the game the same way. I'd definitely do it again.
vancityboy: So what appearances are coming up for you--where can we see more of you?
Darrah: I don't know of any appearances right now. Maybe in the future, but I can't really say what I'm going to be on right now because I haven't heard yet.
SURVIVOR Host: I am sorry to say that our hour with Darrah is up. Darrah, thanks so much for being here to chat with us today, and congratulations on finishing in the final four. Do you have any final comments for the SURVIVOR fans?
Darrah: Thanks for being my fans and thanks for the support. I love you all.
Survivorcrazy: Darrah....we here in the Bahamas love you...take care!
Scooterrific: Good Luck Darrah...the Coal Miners love you!
JUNK: HAPPY HOLIDAYS DARRAH!
........................
Just a comment from me ... I think I mentioned before that I was not happy with Burton winning the truck ... and ... then Lil came in second ! So ... the Outcast re-treads won pretty dang big. It was easy for Burton and Lil to say it was "fair" because they just played by the rules they were given. I just don't think so. They had advantages the others did not.
