Madge Thanks Britney With Diamonds
MADONNA has reportedly splashed out £10,000 on a diamond necklace for Britney Spears to say thank,for the pop princess snog during the MTV Music Video Awards ceremony.
"Madonna thought the necklace was a nice way of saying thanks," an insider told The Sun.
"She already has one with the letter M and wanted Britney's to be a B , so it was like a friendship necklace."
Meanwhile, Britney has spoken about her kiss with Madonna, saying it was her first in a long time and would "last her for a while."
When the 22-year-old star was asked about the snog shocker during a news conference in Washington to promote American football.
Britney said it was unrehearsed and that it was the first time she had kissed a woman.
Madonna, 45, snogged both Britney and singer Christina Aguilera while performing her latest hit, Hollywood, during the ceremony.
