i want my packers to go all the way, but if they can't get the job done i would love for my panthers to get to the big game. they got the big D but can the offense step up? i think so.
I like the packers but I have to go with the panthers first. I think this might be the year. The defense is awesome, Peppers is unstopable. I think the offense might be able to pull it off too, we might be seeing a lot of Delhomme this year, Davis is a beast and throw Muhammad in the mix and you got the passing and running. What more can you ask for.

what a game against the bucs! defense vs. defense coming down to sudden death overtime. i can't believe my panthers blocked that extra point with no time left on the clock. especially after making two other field goal blocks earlier in the game. and penalties! it's been a long time since i've seen this many penalties in one game. i'm so proud of my panthers. and my packers stomped the lions. this has been a very good football weekend for me.

nymphadora: glad to see another panther fan on the board. special teams and defense have always kept the panthers in their games even if the offense just wasn't up to it. but that's the great thing. the offense didn't make that many mistakes (aside from penalties). i think there was only 1 interception. they showed great patience against the bucs defense. just imagine what they could do against a team with just a moderate defensive line. i smell good things cooking for the panthers this year. i'm truly impressed with the panthers' win against tampa bay.
I agree, Tampa Bay is a good team, so to am impressed with the panthers. Your right the special teams were awesome. Rarely do you see a feild goal block in a game much less 3. Peppers and Jenkins were hott. I just know its gonna ba a good year, theyve already did better than last year and they are talking about switching them to primetime and possible a game on Monday night football. I don't think theyve ever played on Monday night football. How exciting is that? And I think Rick Fox is possible one of the best things to ever happen to them.

Heh I was reading this post talk of weekend games and I almost shat myself! I thought the football season started early!!! Than I looked at the dates and realized what was going on. Either way that was a good Superbowl to say the least. The Panthers did a lot better than what I thought they would do.
