I had decided not to get interested in any more dramas...(Well, except for "24!!") I've been waiting for "ER" and "NYPD Blue" to get euthanized (so I could get free.) "Buffy" finished up, so did "Area 51" (was it called that?? The one with the teen aliens??) "The Practice" was suffering a rash of bad writing and all my favorite actors & actresses on that got canned or left..........
THEN CAME NIP/TUCK
I am friggin' hooked. "Christian" is one of the most interesting characters in a TV drama since Arnie Becker of "LA Law." He has this weird way of observing the genuine emotions of others & somehow being surprised....It's his intelligence coupled with shallowness that makes him a character that could have been written by Henry Fielding or Thomas Hardy. (A millennial Alfie.) "David" and his wife and their little family reflect the problems of successful people everywhere, trying to connect and love one another with possessions, unfulfilled dreams and other people continually getting in the way. (Incidentally, the wife's nose is exquisite--not too long at all, IMHO! What a wonderful actress too....)
