Position: Contract development XSL designer
Requirements: Solid understanding of and experience coding XML, XSL templates & XSLT as well as design experience with graphic tools (such as Photoshop) and web page layout. Knowledge of SQL and databases (MS SQL SVR, mysql, Access).
Project Description: We are putting together a content server which is based on Java, XML and XSLT (Apache + Tomcat + Sun JDM + Xerces + Xalan platform). We would like you to put together XSL templates based on our current database and creative/artwork provided by our designers to be displayed over our custom content server platform. It is preferred that you have some web/graphic design experience so that you can recognize and suggest corrections for problems related to creative content provided by designers. This will be a fun, new platform to develop on and you may contribute design suggestions that enhance the user experience or improve efficiency. The presentations are graphically intensive and are largely information and product offerings, but eventually we would like to add games, polls/surveys, demograph-targeted content, etc.
