Well, as someone, who hasn't seen the Japanese version, I'd say he has one womanish voice (or another way to say it - gay voice), but I guess they just screwed that up in the american version. But I'd say he's pretty cool as he:
1) kicks almost everyone's ass in the Frieza saga
2) has a tail (no laughs, please)
3) has the most power as in commands more troops than anyone else in the entire series (irw...)
4) the reason why Vegeta turned sides
5) super-powerful (at least, to a point).
6) smart as in knew that saiyans would be his doom and took countermeasures, which failed
but the woman's voice spoils a lot... Plus his 4 forms all look kinda awkward, if you leave out the horns and tail...
irw... you know, what was one of the most satisfying scenes of the whole series? the scene in "Fusion Revival", where Gohan defeats frieza with one blow...
Ah, just toying with you, agtually I feel sorry for saying such awful words... that Vegeta could beat Frieza...
What do you think, how old is Frieza and has he always been such a ruthless character or did he become that, when he knocked out the former boss of his army (I don't know if you can call it Ginyu).
i would say Freiza isn't a guy with that voice or appears to be. I mean, Freiza really doesn't act all tough & all, and never trys to correct that voice. Frieza is probably A-sexual too, cause theres no reproductive oragans, unless Its very small.
Vegeta would kick Freizas ass too. I mean, the only reason why he died i think is cause he tried to tell Goku something, & got the Ass Blaster. Vegeta not to mention is powerfull enought to be like the spokesman for Energizer, he keeps going & going and going & going & going and going.
So i think Freiza is tough, but he isn't that great when it comes to saiyans.

Freiza rocks my fiends. Having finally found the time in to watch the best show ever (My 6 year old brother kind of ruled the tv for 5 years and hated DBZ when it came out, but now I can't get him away from the tv when ANY DB show is on!), I have been watching the Freiza saga on toonami (UK) at 1 in the moring! Still, good reason to stay up though! I do have to say I had troubles with his voice (her, it) and thought Freiza was a female character until I looked up the info on the net. I think maybe Freiza's power is so much his testicles have been pushed up or maybe he is a her In the end, Freiza kicks butt. But I am still a Goku and Gohan fan, and Vegeta is a riot with his black humor (yes I am a twisted Sayian(hope that is right). But the bad guys do rock in DBZ
