Marlene... it's the router that caused the server to go down!

Now, for those of you who magically have $$$$$ in your pockets, send it to Marc. It costs thousands of dollars to bring in the next size server... and doesn't have that money just laying around.

Marc does have a good sense of humor... look at this site. He would have to, to put up with all the crap that we all spew everywhere!

Indeed... crap.... spewed... everywhere. For jeez sake, take a look at this THREAD! We are talking about the server downtime, not Bill Clinton. This is the announcement forum, ya'll, and each one of you should get a warning for off-topic posting... but we at INReview have a good sense of humor.

With regard to the "Server Too Busy" message - when you get this message, just wait a few moments and refresh the page. All of the data you are sending will get re-transmitted, and everything should work fine. You don't have to loose your wonderful posts just because you get momentarily rejected by our server.

Yes, we are evaluating the options of replacing the INReivew server. Right now, though, the big project is setting everything up on a new system of redundant co-located servers (to aviod downtime caused by ISP uplink problems). Once that's finished, I'm sure the guy upstairs will be glad to accept your donations to the "New INReview Server/Michael and Marc's Pocket Change Foundation"

I was thinking of this over the last few weeks. Fund to whole forum for 12 months and upgrades. No ads popping up, no Server busy. 20-30k should take care of it. But Investers are not wanted or needed here.

Our server never went down... we were up and running the whole time! (You just couldn't get to us because the ISPs router was down.

Bit, if you want to give us 20-30k, please do so. I'm sure we could work something out in the pop-up department.

Speaking of servers, though... INReview is getting a new one! Server busy messages will be drastically vanished in the very near future...

Marc, are some of us banned from the silver and gold memberships? I have tried numerous times and when I click the Gold button, get page not found. In over 30 tries, have not yet made it to a subscription page. Are other people having this problem, too?

Marlene - thanks for pointing that out. That problem manifested itself over the course of the last 24 hours, but is now fixed.

"it may look... hey, did you notice that? i used the word 'look' while i'm sittin' here tryin' to describe the definition of 'look'... that's pretty funny. you know? anyhow... what was i sayin'? oh, yeah. to you, an average lay person... hot doggit i did it again. i said 'lay'. kind of reminds me of somethin' else i got in trouble for. but i don't wanna get into that right now. anyway... to the average la... uh, to the average person, 'look' may be defined as to have their eyes open and pointed in the direction of what it appears they're lookin' at. but as a highly educated former president, let me just say that i can have my eyes open and pointed right at you. like i do now. they're open and pointed right at you. but am i lookin' at you? no, of course not. i'm visifying - uh, is that a word? can somebody look that up for me right quick. well, let's just pretend that it is a word for the sake of arguement. anyway... i'm visifying out of my peripheral vision, as they call it. i'm focused on my surroundings at all times. so it may appear as though i'm looking, but actually i'm perusing all the things around me, i have no idea what's actually in front of my face. that's why that whole intern thing got me into trouble. i thought it was hilary the whole time."

"but one thing i want to be very clear about... are you listenin'? i did not have carpal relations with that keyboard"

hahahahahah OMG that was great. If i could nominate that post I would. Wow, I was laughing out loud on that one Thanks for making my day

Good news from Iraq - bet you didn't know there was any?
