Here's some proof - i'm standing in front of the toilet....hmmm. i have a choice to make. Do i aim for the center or over shoot? here i go.ssssssssssttttttt
****..damn, its all over the floor - bad choice, now i have to clean it up
i'm sorry, i couldn't help myself XD - i had to post that.
One theory of time that I read postulates that time is a man made reference but actually does not exist. All events,,past, present and future occur in the same frame and have already taken place.
Persons with ESP {some] predict the "Future" with uncanny accuracy. Since the prevailing concept is future present and past, how can the future be predicted unless it has already occurred?
I find that theory intriguing. But I flunked physics so what do I know?
Well I think the same becker all the past , present , future, have already happenned. But we do not have the power or the vision. to see it. Some develop ESP which enables them to see all the 3 phases.
"If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas."
thearchitech said this in post #78 : Well I think the same becker all the past , present , future, have already happenned. But we do not have the power or the vision. to see it. Some develop ESP which enables them to see all the 3 phases.
We're probably the only two people on our planet that think this way. But since we're right...who cares?
Well It is like the events that have happenned are called past, but once when they are happenning, it is called the present. if these two phases exist the third which is going to happen also exists. One without the other two cannot exist. All the events that we go through are already taken place in the future. because we cannot see into the future we belive, it is yet to happen. but for the past , since it has happenned. We belive in it.
well sice space time exists as a block as in the treatise on time and reality explains of you look at this block of spacetime everytime exists there in that block. We experience linear time. we remember the past and we would be able to remember the future except since the wavefunctions of all the particles in the universe have not collapsed at that point in time there is too much interference between the outcomes for us to remember the future. It is conceivable that rarely someone might be able to remember the future and that wouldn't really be unscientific. There is a finite probability that one or more persons here can or will be able to remember the future.
The funniest music video in the world is Eminem - Without Me, when Elvis is sitting on the toilet, reaches in and pulls out a sandwich and eats it - where did that come from? roflmao
