Glad to see the love is back. Getting back to some of the ideas from earlier in the thread, I believe that those born outside the Matrix still have great respect for what it is. They are trapped under the surface of a planet their species used to rule because of some very deadly and intelligent machines. Those people understand who is in control and also feel deprived of freedom. I would think that being a slave to a system that has some form of rationale, than beeing freed to a much harder life with even less freedom would be extremely hard to deal with, but create greater character and purpose (and thirst for freedom too! ). People like Tank and Dozer were born in the real world yet they believed very strongly in Neo, Morpheus and what they were working toward. Everybody is different, and Locke has the right idea as a military commander. Faith or not, he wants to know his troops can win during engagement. It's his job to do this, and he is right when he wants every ship at his disposal. It is worthy to note that being inspired by God or thinking that your faith gurantees you a victory in the end can be used to make troops fight even better. Locke should see the importance of letting the prophecy and the people who believe it voice their opinions, because the motivation is certainly an excellent ally.
There are many of us who believe that the motion picture The Matrix is more than just a movie. Because of this a religion/philosophy called Matrixism has begun to emerge. To see what this is all about visit the Matrixism website at http://www.geocities.com/matrixism2069
Matrixism is the emerging philosphy or religion of The Matrix. See what Matrixism is all about at http://www.geocities.com/matrixism2069
