Just for the record, yes Clay was never in the bottom 2 or 3, but if it was not for one of the judges, Clay would have never been in the final 12. He was never voted in by the fans, he was a wild card or something like that. As for Ruben, he did win, I didn't like Kelly whats her name, never have, never will, cause she doesn't sing, she screams. I believe the reason Clay is so popular is because he has more white fans than Ruben, this is not a racist thing, but a numbers things. If Blacks out numbered whites, then I believe Ruben would be out selling Clay. Then there is a goup of people out there who believe the American Idol show is crap. Live and Let Live.
talent is what you have, music style is in the ear of the beholder. if you like how Clay sings, then you like it, but if you don't that's fine. i think Clay is more talented. he has a wider range in notes that he can sing, and there is no way in arguing that. ruben is great, but he usually sings within the same few notes, while Clay can go high, low, and everywhere in between. i don't think this is about numbers, either, i think its how well the 2 of these guys can sing, but it doesn't really matter now, the competition is over and ruben won, now it's up to the CD sales.
haha, true! somehow he won tho, i don't know how, unless someone voted for him like 2 million times. clay should've won by AT LEAST 1 or 2 million. the difference was like 130 000, but that's way to close to be believable. if clay had been the winner by 130 000 votes instead of ruben, i think i still would feel it was rigged some how.

I love Clay and he as way more talent. He is making is album all on his own while Ruben is having other people do it. is voice is so much better

Clay is more popular and we are sure not bitter we wish the best for Clay and he WILL stay on top because Ruben Studdars himself said that Clay has some dedicated and crazy fans and we all intend to keep him on top for years to come or at least until he wants to teach children and stops but still we need to embrace Clay not down him all you Ruben fans!

HA HA I printed out some of the things u clay freaks have said and took them to class (psychology) and even people who liked clay said you guys are nuts. Did you know there are people out there who loves clay but say claymates are racist, wierd, and need to get a life. That was the consesus of my class, my white class. I was watching ryan seacrest's new show and there were people we said they loved clay but did not want to be called a claymate cause everyone knows claymantes are racists.every year
Claymates are not racist we just want the best for Clay and it is really not morally right to be racist in the way you are thinking why does it always have to be racist if everything goes different. We all just need to be happy for Clay and Ruben becuase they both have done very well for themselves. That is kinda weird that you took what we wrote to your class are you trying to prove that we are insane or something we are not insane we are just in love!
