Well i've thought about this a little bit after the last show they said there was going to be some big twist at the end. Well what will the twist be....i got thinking maybe none of the girls will except that fact that he's lied.
But on the other hand that could be me just thinking retarded haha......If Evan is to have anyone at the end of the show for sure it would Zora. She's worth it. It's obvious she's not all about the money.......that's more than what i can say for Miss Priss....!
Well let's stay tuned it should be interesting.....!
I thought that Sarah was not as interested in Evan as in the possibility of having access to unlimited finances. She made several comments of how she really could see herself being able to live the way she would like if she had money. She really seemed intent on changing Evan given the chance. She said that she was not totally attracted to him, but could see possibilities if she could change him. And considering those comments, I thought it was a bit ruthless of her to be pursuing a physical relationship with him if she really thought that about him. I thought she was using any weapon she had available to her, such as her considerable femimine wiles, to keep him interested in her. (selling herself???) Whereas, Zora said right from the very beginning, to the camera, that she was very uncomfortable with the whole fortune aspect. She basically said she wished Evan didn't have the money as she thought he was a decent person, but was very distrustful of the money because of her background. She didn't think they could find something in common considering he had money and she didn't. And she was very uncomfortable with the fact that the other girls were in "attack mode" and out to catch him however they could. I was very proud of her when she left the hot tub after the 3 others crashed their date. And also that she was not willing to cheapen herself by kissing him and flashing her bod, unlike others staying at the chateau. I think she managed to maintain her dignity and morals without compromising herself. I wish she had been able to tell Evan about this right at the beginning, because it would have given him more to base his decision on, a better insight to her values and feelings about the whole situation. I think he did eventually pick up on that, given the fact that she was withdrawing from the other girls and certainly had a much better time doing simpler activities. I don't know if Evan will end up marrying her. Hopefully, in the real world, they will take the time to find out if they do have anything in common.
Most guys might agree nice wholesome girls with upstanding morals are hard to find - and this show, with all its "contestants", is testimony to that.
Out of the whole bunch, there were probably less than a handful that fit that mold - even less than that whom of which were not "whack" in one way or another.
I noticed in the USA Today article, that they only get to keep the cash if they stay together. Did you notice that in the program? I guess I missed that reference. I didn't know there were strings attached to keeping the money. The next show tells what happened from the date he chose Zora until 3 months later after the rest of the shows aired on TV. Do you think that means they have had no contact since that date? or perhaps only voice contact ipo risk being seen together until the shows aired? Perhaps that would explain why Zora was still living in her little pad and keeping her jewels in the freezer? I have seen Evan on various entertainment news shows and he seems to be making the rounds of premieres and having auditions for various roles since he was in France. Perhaps there is a contractural obligation on both parties for no contact until the final show airs? What do you think?
yea, the whole thing seems kind of fishy to me. I don't understand what to believe anymore...
Surprisingly, i did not see any signs of affection on Evan's part. To me it looked as if he was just trying to choose the best girl. What about feelings? I don't know, he just seemed cold. On the other hand, how could he act and feel after having to choose between women as if they were furniture or clothes?
I also think that staring a relationship like that must be very difficult. If they ever make it then they must have been really made for each other... Anyway, we will find out more on M!
Can't wait!
Thanks for your attention!
You know, there is something else i am thinking. I hope you don't hate me for that... I think that Zora is really wierd. She seems too good and kind, and relaxed. And, what's up with keeping jewelry in the freezer? Is she OK or is it customary to keep jewelry in freezers? Never heard of that before! hahaha! Also, she was so modest before. All of a sudden, yesterday she kept kissing him continuosly. What happened to her natural modesty? Also, how come her jewelry was still in the freezer? How come she did not send it to her dying aunt by now?
I don't know, i just don't trust her. She seems too right. I hope that i am wrong though...
I just finished watching Evan and Zora on Entertainment tonight. The "reporter" said that they were both seen at a market buying groceries?!! this week. They also said that Evan has been making the rounds and suggesting he would be interested in any number of females, available or otherwise. Hard to tell if he's just acting on the direction of his agent/publicist or if it's the real deal. I really liked Zora best of all the women who went to France because she seemed like someone you might actually know; pretty, but not a model, and natural and intelligent. She was the only one who actually seemed to be listening to what their intuition was telling them about him. She wasn't ready to believe everything she was told and certainly didn't do anything she might regret just because he was a supposed millionaire. I'd like to think that she was a nice person and that he was actually interested in her and that they end up dating at the very least. However, I have a stinking suspicion that he's interested in becoming a personality! I suspect that Zora isn't looking for a guy who wants to be in the spotlight. Anyway, I have talked this to death......)) I just found this so fascinating I seem to have gotten carried away!!!

While we were watching - after he gave her the ring and they were just standing there staring at eachother - more than a few of us blurted out, "Kiss her!!"
He gave her just a small peck. I think that it was after the money was given to them that she later asked, "Can I kiss you?" before they really got into it.
My interpretation is that Evan was not being intentionally "cold". In fact, I'm sure he wanted to grab Zora and share a huge kiss-fest in celebration of the whole thing being over. Sure, they had a fun time - but, man, stressful. So why didn't he do it? Zora's character. He was respectfully standing his ground and not pushing anything - now that she had said, YES, I think he was trying terribly hard not to cross the line and blow it.

I agree in that she's a little quirky - but I find her kindness totally legit. What's too bad is that there aren't more people out there that can just be themselves, weird or not, rather than blending in with the masses.

I think she was just caught up in all the magic of the thing. To us it might have all seemed a bit manufactured, rigged - a tv show - but, I can only imagine that to them - they were probably so happy that it was all over - and the two of them were both standing there WITHOUT hurt feelings ready to push on to the next stage of their lives.
Ok, I know I wasn't going to say any more...but! I agree with Marc. I think Zora's a really down to earth, honest person. I think that there is a good possibility that Evan really does have feelings for her. I think she was just waiting for the right time to play her hand. I don't think it was inappropriate for her to kiss him, and he certainly seemed to be enjoying it,(he did close his eyes when they were dancing). I think she thought the worst of the stress and uncertainty was over and she was just showing him how happy she was to be there with him at that moment. I think I would probably have asked if it was ok to kiss him too, considering how she was leery to let him kiss her and that they really don't know each other in that way yet. I think she was happy. There is no doubt that Zora's life so far has led her to be wary and careful; hence keeping the jewelry in the freezer. That's not uncommon among many people, although it's the first place a burglar looks! I agree that her quirks are probably what intrigued Evan to keep her around to find out more about her. Something else I noticed right through all the programs was that Zora didn't say anything rude or mean about the other girls, and in fact I recall several conversations where she was very obviously not participating when Sarah and Melissa were saying unkind things about Evan and Mojo. She says alot with her eyes even though her facial expression appears to be deliberately blank. I think she exercised good manners by not saying anything at all if she couldn't say anything nice, especially when others were definitely not saying anything nice. Melissa and Sarah often said they thought her uncultured and naive. I thought she was more of a "lady" than they pretended to be because of that. Another thing that really bothered me was Sarah's smile. Was it just me and my own first impression of her, or was that the phoniest smile you ever saw?!!! I couldn't understand why Evan didn't see that! Perhaps it takes a woman to notice something like that!
