Hi all,
I have already made my formal introduction in the right place, I hope. I am not only new to this forum thing, but golf as well.
Now, I really know how bad I am when I read through some of these golf threads.
I am on a mission of self education. Like I said in my introduction, my boss has started inviting me to play, and he is really good. So, that?s why I?m here. I want to dry behind my ears, so to speak. I am interested in improving my golf game.
Here's what's got me going. I recently read a post in another forum that says because of the internet, anyone can get information, tips, strategies, and advice from an almost infinite list of professional gurus. However, the post mentioned that it is more likely that the guru contacted online is not really as good as his marketing or online site.
So, to those true golfers with real games, I ask you what is the point of seeking instructions? Was the writer of this post accurate? Am I better off just picking up my golf stick and let nature take its course?
