No Punishemnt for the following reasons 1. he needed what he took to stay alive, I mean the audacity of the man how dare he not only live but to continue to compete.
2. the governing body was well informed of the medication he had taken and they cleared him fit to compete
3. the vast majority of other competitors knew what the situation were and they did not complain becasue they knew thisa would not give him the edge.
Now comapre that Ms Jones
1. she took the drugs to cheat
2. she covered up her drug taking and lied to a jury about it
3. her competitors knew nothing about it and got scrwed, black and whote competitors I might add you sjopuld remember that.
The thing is if Armstrong had been a black man this would not have outraed you as much would it?
