Cena Injured post #1  quote:

John Cena suffered a torn pectoral muscle during his match with Mr Kennedy on Monday night, the injury means that Cena will have to miss around 8 months with the injury, but more importantly he has been stripped of the WWE title and a new champ will be crowned this Sunday at no mercy.

As of now the 2 competitors of the title match have yet to be confirmed and while one has to be Orton the 2nd man remains a mystery the most obvious 2 would be HHH or Umaga but they are scheduled to fight each other, other options would have been Jeff Hardy but he is scheduled to fight as well the only option remaining would be Mr Kennedy but the WWE may have an issue with "rewarding" somebody who has just come back from a suspension due to steroid abuse the one outside option and I admit it is a real outside option is an early return for either Chris Jericho or dare I say HBK.

Now I freely admit I am no fan of Cena but I can't help but wonder if he really is injuried or maybe just burnt out. He has been champ for over a year his fans are cash cows for the business and losing the title due to injury as opposed to a beat down from Orton might sit better.

Some people say that may be a bit far fetched but Batista, Edge and now Cena have all had to surrender the title due to pectoral injuries in the last 12 months and they have all happend a week before they were meant to lose the title and lose to heel stars ( except for Edge who was due to win). Could it be a coincidence? yes of course but in the case of Cena there did not appear to be any high impact injuries on the pectotral area, or no more than usual in a match.

Also Dr Andrews saying that Cena may be back sooner than the 8 months because of the way he trains this is the same doctor Andrews that told Edge and Batista that the 8 months out they had due to the same injuries was non negotiable or they could end thier career, no either Dr Andrews hates Cena more than I do or his injury is not as bad as WWE is reporting.

Look at this way on Sunday everyone wins, The Cena haters get a new champ in Randy Orton and the Cena fans get to have thier afternoon nap in the knowledge the most overated champ ever never lost the title and the pre pubescent girls in the fans don't see thier fantasy boyfriend get a potential beating and Cena goes out in the knowledge that 4 months from now he will probaby be champ again

A couple of othere things about the Cena "injury" ask yourself how many times has Cena been threatend with being stripped of his title in the last few weeks? at least twice to my knowledge, I think WWE has been seeking a suitable storyline angle for Cena to lose the title for a while but if thats the case why not do it in a match?

Also and I must stress this is only a theory, there has been a lot of suspensions due to steroid abuse in the last few months and we know at least 7 wrestlers across the brands were suspended but we also know there were at least 15 names on that pharmacy list we alao know that the suspension time for a failing a drugs test for the 2nd time is months not days out so maybe Cena failed a 2nd drugs test in a few days.

The plan was for Orton to beat Cena at the upcoming PPV then they were going to bring Cowboy Bob Orton int the Cena/Orton feud. This injury has obviously prevented that and it will more than likely be a match between Orton and Kennedy for the title which Orton will probably win.

Perhaps this injury can bring the WWE out of the monotony they have been in on RAW and make the WWE title sceen more interesting. But eventually we know that HHH will win the title then it will go back to a returning Cena and the monotony will being all over again.
