Ric Flair Gives Notice to the WWE post #1  quote:

According to new reports, Ric Flair has given notice to WWE and did so around August 21. This reportedly has nothing to do with the current drug investigations or suspensions within WWE at this time as Flair grew frustrated over his push and a lack of any encouraging communication from the front office.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has already offered Flair a major program to return. Both sides haven't agreed on this new program and it is unclear where things stand at this time. The Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that TNA is aware of the situation right now and is interested, so anything is possible at this point.

I think Flair has to leave he definitley has 1 more title run left in him but the problem is that Smackdown will be dominated by Batitisa( 8 title shots in 2 months) and Rey Mysterio ( confrimed title shot after 7 days back on the show) perosnally I don't think Mysterio is good enought to have a title shot but thats a diffrent story. He had the same problems on Raw with the main player being Cena ( 11 months as champ and been in title stories for 4 years).

The thing is with the exception of Batista Flair is better then the other 2 but will always be overlooked and the reason is simple Flair's fans don't buy a lot of t shirts etc.

Thing is Flair is smart to the WWE is terminal better to get out while you can.

If Flair goes to TNA it will be the same situation. He will be overlooked in favor of Jeff Jerrett, Christian, Sting and Kurt Angle ((who currently hold all the TNA titles I believe)).

If Naitch wants another title run it will have to either be in ROH or in Japan because the major players of American wrestling dont give a damn about who is te best wrestlers but rather prefer to focus on who is the most marketable.

Romour has it that the WWE wants Flair to retire sometime next year anyway so it would definately be in Flairs best interest to leave if he wants another title. If he stays he will probably end up as either a manager or an on screen personality of some kind.
