The writing in the WWE has gone down hill so fats that it is now practically in the gutter and the reason for this is simple - there is a McMahon in charge of creative writing and the McMahons are not to be questioned. The piss poor standard of writing does not begin and end with Hornswaggle, look at bothbrand when was the last time soembody did someting innovative? where are the shocks? thjey are back in the late 90s and they are probably gonna stay there unless somebody somewhere takes a stand and says something.
Look at the " ideas" the WWE has some up eith in the past few months/years.;
Cena has been champ for 11 months and think about ths with the exceptions of Edge ( 3 weeks) and RVD ( 3 weeks) has ben the champ for the best part of 2 years and thats only on Raw don't forget his title reign on Smackdown in fact it has been 3 years since Cena was not in some kindf of title story.
Tag matches are now a joke plain and simple
Smackdown have a Cena thing going with Batitsta he will no doubt be the champ sooner rather than later yawn
If the WWE loses a couple of big stars they are f***ed HHH and Rey Mysterios injuries have hamperd them this should be a chance for younger and other wrestlers to get a push but that has passed them by. It's the same with the cruiserweight title the matches and storys have gone down hill since Gregory Helsm damaged his neck.
The GM situation is a joke Teddy Long plays to the fans and asa such the favourites i.e Batista ( who may be having a secret affair with Michale Cole) get the limelight while others are picked on or left behind also on the subject of favourites why is Rey Mysterio back on Smackdown when he lost a loser leaves smackdown match?
As for Raw well we know that the coach will be the new GM ( It's Raw's newest shock storyline) But I just can't see him do it , it may be a bad move but I would rather see Bischoff or Shane McMahon on Raw calling the shots and starting fresh.
The fact is this in the last 12 months the WWE has fired more wrestlers than it has done in any other 12 months period and for the vast majority the reason is that they don't good storylines. So basically Vince is firing guys that his daughter has failed and yet she keeps her job, there is also a rumour that a lot of writers have quit bceuae of Steph now it might seem far fetched but look on the WWE webiste at the jobs area and you will see a lot of positions for creative writers might be a coincidence who knows.
The fact is that in it's current state the WWE is dying Ratings are going down, there is less demand for tickets than before, revenue from PPVs are down and it's all down to the storylines it's like anything if a soap has bad storys you stop watching and the WWE has to realsie that before it's to late.
