h@ts said this in post #4 : Don't you think "how is that Muslims seem to blame Israel for all of their problems" is a loaded question? What particular Muslims are you talking about? Despite your view that the Isrealis are the victims in the region, it is in fact the Palestinians who are being pushed "into the sea".
Personally, I think Palestine is a joke society.....a 3rd world backwater with no value to the emerging global society, Isreal OTOH is a economic and military powerhouse.
My point is this....why are people supporting Palestine and questioning anything Israel does...Israel are the good guys.
There is a fundamental problem with the expectation that neighboring countries should have accepted all Palestinian refugees and integrated them into their own population. The vast majority of Arab states in the region were diametrically opposed to the formation of the state of Israel, even under the British mandate. The migration of Jews, and their purchase of land in Palestine prior to the declaration of the nation of Israel, threatened to offset Arab power, just as it did. By accepting Palestinian refugees, you destroy their refugee status. Once the Palestinians become Jordanian, Lebanese, Syrian, Egyptian, etc., they lose the right of return. This isn't necessarily a reflection of any internation law but, rather, a reflection of Israeli power. The right of return is fundamental to the formation of an eventual Palestinian state, in that a population of non-Israelis is necessary to justify the necessity for such a state. The fact that such an enormous group of people and their posterity have remained refugees for six decades is a terrible tragedy and I am in no way defending the decisions of neighboring states. However, it is important to realize the political and social circumstances which led to the decision to retain the refugee status of displaced Palestinians.
