Liverpool, Portsmouth and Fulham will compete for the Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong-Kong this July.
They will be joined in the tournament by the winners of Hong Kong's FA Cup, and the four teams will compete in a knock-out tournament to determine the winners.
The tournament should give fans in Asia a chance to see Premiership players such as Steven Gerrard, Sol Campbell and Brian McBride.
Liverpool, who could go into the tournament as the champions of Europe, will play the Hong Kong representative in their semi-final on 24th July.
Fulham await Pompey in the other semi-final, to be played earlier in the day on 24th July. The two sides drew both of their meeting in the Premiership this season.
The third-place play-off and final will then be played on 27th July; all the matches will be covered live on Sky Sports.
Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said: "The Barclays Premiership has a fantastic following across east Asia, and nowhere more so than in Hong Kong.
"This is a great opportunity for those fans who follow our competition week in week out to experience what a Barclays Premiership game is like in the flesh."
He added: "We have three fantastic clubs who will be putting out strong teams and aiming to win this increasingly prestigious trophy.
"And I am sure the winners of the Hong Kong FA Cup will be determined to compete."
((Personnal View: this could be one of the few chances Pompey get for cup sucess as the English trophys are dominated by the big four and it is unlikely that Pompey would win in Europe so this cup involving a team from a relatively small footballing country and two team that Pompey can beat presents a good oportunity for the South Coast Club to get cup sucess.))
