The percentage of criminals are more among men. Men are more
egoistic than women. Psychology says that men are more likely to
become irritable, angry, or violent than women. It says that men
are aggressive and domineering and territorial, and women are
kind, caring and sharing. Stastics say that 4 out 5 suicides are
committed by men, and 85% of the homeless are men.

Men try to use logic and reasoning in spiritality. The subject of
spirituality is beyond logic. The benefits of spirituality can
not be obtained with reasoning. A man gets them if he has faith.
"Our two minds .... One is an act of the emotional mind, the
other of the rational mind. In a very real sense we have two
minds, one that thinks and one that feels" (Daniel Goleman,
Emotional Intelligence, Bloomsbury Publishing, London, 1996, page
8). This rational mind is also called the faculty of logic and
reason.
The emotional mind is subconscious mind and the rational mind is
the conscious mind. The Upanishads call the emotional component
of mind as Chitta and the rational component of mind as Manas.
The nature of Manas changes gradually and minutely with every
perception and learning. The nature of Chitta never changes. In
general, women excel in Chitta and men excel in Manas. Chitta is
connected with religion and spirituality.

This fact is known among Hindus since millenia. Women are
naturally more spiritually inclined and devoted to the Beloved
Lord than men... Why is it the case that women are more
devotional? Devotion starts as sentiment or emotion. For it is
with emotional force that we take all of our existence away from
external objects and internal objects (ideas, complexes,
attachments, etc.) and run towards the Supreme Subjectivity and

It may be noted here that the very logic of 'constancy' prohibits
development with time required for a living being. In feedback
control systems of Electrical Engineering, existence of a
negative component is a must, and it is used as feedback to
obtain automatic control of a system. Accordingly, development
(or growth) should be called a 'disturbance' (or deviation) of
constancy. It is programmed in the genes of a living being for

Women are more spriritual than men because we are more in touch w our emotions and are therefore more true to ourselves. I think we were specifically programed to be this way.
It is easy for a woman to walk on the path of spirituality because spirituality is the journey of surrendering. Our society is a man dominating society. From his childhood, he sees that he is getting more rights and liberties from his family and society than a girl or woman. It is his ego that does not allow him to surrender before anyone.
