Thumbs down McMahon's view on ECW oldies post #1  quote:

I have to agree with Mr. McMahon's point of view about all of the oldies on ECW. Tommy Dreamer is old hat nothing changes. Every week the Sandman bangs himself in the forehead with a beer can???? He could do that on a street corner somewhere and collect coins in a tin cup. Run a video with RVD then cut and paste a different opponent and you will the exact same moves without him having to wrestle in any more matches. Sabu must have completely destroyed his insides because he just can't to go all out anymore. Balls Mahoney must have 1 - 2 - 3 memorized by now. He should retire and become a pin cushion in a women's sewing circle.

Matt Striker is impressive as well as being innovative, he adds to his arsenal each week. C.M. Punk, Kevin Thorn, Elijia Burke and Marcus Cor Von are going to be powers to be reckoned with. Even Devari was starting to show a little potential before he left for smackdown. I still can't make up my mind about Bobby Lashley yet. I'd like to see him turn heel. I hope Snitsky does a better job here because he sure didn't accomplish anything when he was on Raw.

God! I miss WCW.

Had this been the Old ECW, as in Hardcore wrestling, not this WWE-ECW then Dreamer, Mahoney and Sandman would have been much better because their niche is Hardcore however the WWE refuse to have hardcore wrestling on a regular basis after Mick Foley almost killed himself a few times in the 90s.

Mahoney is actually more over than almost anyone on the ECW roster simply because everyone shouts Balls whenever he does anything.

As for RVD his problems come from him being discontented with the WWE. The WWE has never found the right storyline for RVD, they have never allowed him to speak properly on screen and RVD himself has never fitted in. His problems with the WWE powers that be increased when he refused to go to Iraq to perform for the troops and refused to thank McMahon for the opportunity to go, having never been a suck up in his life. His contract is up this year and he will most likely be jobbed out until he leave for TNA.

Sabu has never been i the WWE good book really and he made the problems harder for himself when he and RVD were arrested for carrying drugs. Since then he has had what the WWE say is a lousey attitude and has been jobbed out to almost everyone, despite the fact that he is one of the better wrestlers on the brand.

As for the "new breed" Matt Striker has the potential to be a very good midcard heel. Bruke is sort of like Mr. Kennedy he has pontential and ability on the mike but whether he furfils that will be up to both him and the WWE. Marcus Cor Von is Monty Brown the WWE will push him just to stick it in TNA's face that a wrestler they let go went on to bigger and better things, just like they used to do with WCW wrestler who jumped ship. CM Punk has a far bigger fan base than any of the wrestler mention so far, except RVD, but again the WWE think his attitude is lousey.

Lashley is over-rated and very boring. He is an average wrestler who the WWE push because he is their favorite generic muscle man who they love as champion of the individual brands ((Cena on Raw, Batista on Smackdown and Loshley on ECW)). He will never be a heel because he a very little charisma when it comes to speaking but he will probably be ECW champion for a long time.

The ecw originals are the best in the business. Dreamer and sandman are just flat out hardcore. Rob Van Dam and sabu are amazing in the ring and of course Rob Van Dam didnt fit in he has one of the most original offenses in the business.

Matt striker is pure trash he cant handle being in the ring at all he lets the rest of the new breed fight for him. Elijah burke is just a cocky jerk with a showy style that usually gets him in trouble. Kevin Thorn uses his wait as an advantage if he werent so big he would suck. Marcus Cor Von is the only pure talent in the new breed. His high impact offense tears apart his opponents but hes slow because hes big so you avoid the his big moves and its an easy victory.

CM punk is just amazing
