"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, diet coke in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut her up with cookies.
A friend is someone who thinks you're a good egg, even though you're slightly cracked.
I hate the bad singers. Can that many Americans really be tone deaf? Anyway, I liked the gal who is a marine reservist, and the one who sang "Over the Rainbow".
The freaky redhead guy on the commercial for tonight who sings "Unchained Melody" is he a repeat? I swear he tried out the last two years also.
Okay... there are some of you, with me, on the Sarah Krueger (Somewhere Over The Rainbow) train. She was soooooo cute, and had a great voice.
Last nights show, I didn't take notes. But, I was disappointed by comments the judges made. WHY do they think that it's okay to tell people that they are fat, ugly, look like an animal in the forrest (I think that he meant a Lemur), etc...
And, why is America really okay with sitting around, watching, and finding it okay to degrad others? Yes, they are idiots for even trying to audition. And if they really believe that they can sing, they are even more stupid than I initially thought. But, this is okay... to trash people to death, instead of building them up? Put on the good singers, and show us that, instead of two hours of crap. If they didn't show all that, I don't think that we would see all these freaks trying out, each season.

AIdiva said this in post #20 : Stick the gum on Taylor's face? Simon is a jerk. What a meanspirited person he is.
When he made that comment, all I could think about was fuscia, because of how much she loves Taylor. I'm sure that the Soul Patrol or steamed about that comment of Simon's.
And just for the record... the judges are all mean spirited people. If they weren't, they would be slamming the contestants, after each audition. Paula will tell Simon to stop it, while the contestant is in the room, and then, joins them in comments, and laughing, as soon as they are gone.

The producers set these fools up for the slaughter by the judges. These people know what they're getting in to. The rude comments are what make this show so popular. Take it out and all you have is a trumped up Star Search.
Personally I think it's utterly hilarious and cannot express how happy I am with every tear running down their cheeks.
