Saw this a bunch of times. Looked to me though Shatner was the only one that had new lines. Koening and Nimoy was just ripped from Trek VI, no?

Nope, the footage of Nimoy and Checkov was new, per my INTERNET sources.

(which was a youtube tagline)

New? They didn't say anything that wasn't in Trek VI. If it is new, what a waste. But I don't think it is.

I checked Checkov's site, and it says he is in the commericial, but it don't say if it is new or not.

I dunno, some sites say it's just old footage with new lips added for the dialog, some say it's Shatner slimmed down with a computer.

I will have to research more, after I eats me dinner.

When I first saw it, just like with the Ben Stein one from Ferris Buller and Bill Paxton from Twister, they CGI's their current face with the older and did it that way. The old Trek sets are junked. And Shatner has aged 15 years since Trek VI. Not to mention how much Ben Stein looked in his commercial.

Saw on TVGuide.com that Shater said he was "CGI'd" into it.
