ASHANTI PREPARES FOR NEW VIDEO TUPAC’S LIFE
R&B superstar Ashanti is undertaking a new project. Along with rapper T.I. and other friends of the late rapper, recently filmed a video for the first single of off Tupac’s latest album called “Pac’s Life.”
We caught up with Ashanti at the TAO Restaurants 6th anniversary and spoke to her about the video. “The song and video is bananas. It’s a great tribute to Pac and I think it really captures his life. The album itself is amazing and everyone should definitely get a cop [copy] when it’s out.”
She also spoke about her preparation for the video as well as her future plans; “Preparing for the video was crazy. I was doing hundreds of crunches, squats you name it, but it was all worth it.” “Personally I’ve been working with some of the hottest producers and artists in the world over the last few months and hope to release the album sometime next year. In my opinion I think it’s been my most complete album to date.”
Ashanti will be appearing on “Access Granted” on BET on November 22nd at 7:30 PMEST and BET’s 106 & Park on November 27th at 6 PM EST.
