It's possible that Juliet just wants to take over things, and be in charge of the Others. Or, she, and some of the others, could be waiting for a time to arrive where Ben is out of the picture. Who knows. It will be interesting, either way. If Juliet is totally playing Jack, and gets him to "off" Ben, on the operating table, and ends up being worse, then it will be a cool twist in the show. But, I hope that she is wanting to get out from under his leadership, and make a change.
That eye patch dude scared me too. I don't know if he's an other, or not. Or, someone who's working outside of the island. Anything is possible. Could he be like Desmond, or worse... locked inside of another hatch, hoping that someone will let him out? Or, could he be part of the Others, and was letting them know that he's watching them?
