Yeah, dude has been through a lot. Can't expect him to just suck it up. Not like Starbuck who just lived with a stalker Cylon that she got to stab and had a kid for five second. Tigh was doing some dark crap. I'd totally take a vacation.
Yeah, the things he did, tough guy or not, you can't do that stuff and then just go back to normal.
I bet Adama goes and kicks his ***, then Tigh will cry and slobber all over him and confess his sins, then sober up and be all professional.
All I know is, I drank a bunch of Kentucky Deluxe one time, and seen Dark Tower Roses in the yard, and it almost killed me. No way holmes could drink bottle after bottle like that and not die. His liver must look like Larry Hagmans.
I think that Tigh needs to retire... or be retired. PERIOD! Sure, he's been through a lot... but so were a lot of others peeps down on New Caprica. It doesn't give him an excuse. I mean, I know that his wife did the twist with a toaster, multiple times, and betrayed all the humans, and he had to off her... but, suck it up, tough man. Wipe your ass, get off the pot, and get back to work. You're alive, and the cylons are still out there, waiting to kill ya.

That was some pretty traumatic stuff though. He was locked up and tortured, lost and eye and killed his wife. I think dude should get some slack while re-adjusting to life. Hell, if I somehow miss a Rams game I am pissed for a week. I imagine this is twice as bad
