Did I tell you that my dvr recorded ONE MINUTE of this past weeks Heroes? I was sooooo pissed. The cable company had to reset my box. Luckily, I was able to goto the website and watch it on there. Isn't the internet a great thing to have?

My DVR did that to me once, but it happened to like 5 shows one night. Back when I was working nights a few years back. Got home, cracked a brew, had my hot pocket, turned on the TV and almost threw the box in the f'n pool. I wigged.

It happened to three shows. And one of them was Conan O'Brian... Evanescence was preforming. I was, and still am, quite ticked off.

So the unbreakable chick is hot, but does she have to get horribly injured in every episode to prove her powers? The first episode I can understand. She was doing it on purpose. Then on the second she has her neck broken again. On the third she is impaled. Come on. But waking up on the autopsy table at the end was nuts.

I wonder if she can feel pain at all? She didn't seem to be in pain when she woken up on the autopsy table. Sure she has super healing powers, but so does Wolverine, and he still feels pain.

I agree, she doesn't need to have a fatal injury every episode. I can believe a broken rib from getting smashed into by a football player, but not an exorcist twist.

I general, I still really like this show. I get the same feeling after watching this show as I do after reading a really good comic book. It's got that edge that a show like this wants.

I think you and I are the only ones here who like it.

You're right about the comic book feel. It works.

It's nothing groundbreaking as far as writing or directing, but the story is pretty strong so far and if it pays off we could be in for a cool ride.

I've seen the first couple of episodes and I just cannot get into this show. It is way too slow - it feels like it drags on and on. Maybe I'll watch it later on and see if it has gotten better. But i know a lot of people who are completely hooked. The asian guy is funny though. He made me laugh.

I wouldn't say I am totally hooked on it. I am just interested at this point. It's not a must-see, but thanks to DVR I am always on it.

I'm only hooked on a few shows, 24, BSG, Rescue Me, Office, Earl.

I am giving Studio 60 and Heroes a try this year. I only try out two, maybe three shows a season. And if they become big later, I don't jump on the bandwagon (see: Lost). I make the path, I don't walk it

I'm not "hooked" but I do enjoy the show. My only MUST SEE shows are: BSG, Lost, and Jericho. Nothing else is THAT good.

Still, I like the story line on Heroes. They need to give us a bit more... but, I think that they are trying to lay some good foundation before we see a lot of action.

Definite foundation work being laid here. I wonder if it will be more drama/suspense than action though. They are teasing the powers and it's working... but I think a lot of people are just sticking around for the action/adventure payoff. If that doesn't happen soon people might not stick around.

Well, since these people are just now figuring out their "powers" and now, finding out reasons why some would be brought together, I think that it shows promise. I wouldn't just think that one would be like, "Oh, I can't die... cool. Now I can do anything" and start being a "Super hero" or something.

There's a dark side to this story (with the cheerleaders father doing things to the others) which is going to take time to develop. I think that it will be a mix of drama/suspense, and action/adventure.

Yeah, Peter is more of a power stealer than anything.

Claire is cool. Unbreakable cheerleader?

The black dude who hangs out with Claire's dad is spooky. Come to find out it's the net stripper chicks baby daddy. Weird.

And how are Claire's dad and that guy in all these different places all the time? Wonder who they work for? Think that guy is the Syler person or whatever?

Sucks how the mind reading cop went out. And he was having such a good day...

Glad Peter and the junkie painter teamed up. Now that Hiro is on his way they will make an ineteresting posse.

Future Hiro was dope too.
