You know who I think is over-looked (even though he did win one oscar already). Cuba Gooding Jr. I was shocked he didn't even get a nomination for Men of Honor, based on a true story. I thought he was outstanding!
Do you like Samuel Jackson? He's another outstanding actor. He plays everything and anything! Did you know that Jackson appeared in more movies in the last decade than any other actor? He's amazing!

Did you ever see "Colors"? It's a movie about 2 cops & gangs. The first time I ever took notice of Robert Duvall was in that movie. Toward the end, he did a death scene that practically had me believing he was really dying. Geesh, I had to keep reminding myself that he was acting !

Yes. Good movie. Very intense. Robert Duvall and Sean Penn. Robert Duvall is another one of those "natural" actors. He is a very humble person. I've seen him on numerous interviews and he is very understated. He just loves his work. Michael Douglas is good too.
Nice to know I am in the company of many from my generation!

Ruben's church was filled with people of different races. There were many white people who voted for Ruben. Your childish vocabulary shows your immaturity. I think Ruben is a wonderful gentleman and is handling his win with grace. This is a trait you can work on. Clay is also being a gentleman. Seems like some people can learn a lesson from them.

This show wasn't about racism at all, it had nothing to do with it! it was based on talent, not to say that ruben has more talent than Clay, because personally i think Clay is more talented, but that is my opinion, n*e*wayz, STOP making this about race! it was a singing competition! get over it racial ppl! why did i even read this thread!?!
Apparently you haven't realized it yet, but the whole show was a huge media hype for Ruben. There is no way Ruben can live up to the kind of media hype AI gave him. The show picked Ruben, hyped him, and now are doing damage control as the public seems to be buying Clay. Power to the people! People are spending their hard earned money on an artist they want to hear sing! If Ruben had been in contest for media/acting, then he could of parlayed it better.
AI is the big loser as well as Simon who continues to push Ruben and downplays Clays success. It's getting harder to ignore Clays immense talent as he's already multi platinum, around the world. Yes, that's Germany and Canada and elsewhere as well as USA.
Point being, AI3 is supposedly going to be all about image, isn't that stupid, considering the music industry is in slump, people aren't buying music, (except Clays) it's time for music industry as well as AI to wake up and realize attitude/image is great and all but it won't convince people to spend money on attitude/image for something they will listen to rather than see. It is talent folks, talent is what is propelling clays sells.
Ruben is not living up to the title American Idol you are supposed to make your voice heard and do some good in this world and he ain't done that much. Clay has done more good especially with the Bubel/ Aiken Foundation(www.BubelAikenFoundation.com) and plus Clay actually gives some of his money to different chaitity's and Clay tries too make some of his fans dreams to come true. What has Ruben done nothing really but too try and make money for himself and not help others. Wasn't Ruben the one with the lawsuit and knowing that he signed A contract with American Idol about not advertising while on the show I don't know but when that happened them people should have known that something was wrong. But oh well what's done is done and we can't do nothing about it now Clay fans but support Clay and keep him at the top and embrace him to keep doing what his heart desires.
Ruben you also need to :excersice: so we can keep this battle going against Clay and Ruben fans.
