Who cares what this is about, Paul and Ed are in it, I'm there.
I won't hold the fact that Jessica Biel is in it against the movie. How'd she get a role opposite these two brilliant actors, i'll never know.
I Heart Ed Norton.

And while I think Norton is dope, he's no DeNiro or Pacino. I think he was off the hook in Fight Club and American History X. But dude can mail it in (see: that crappy Mark Walhberg action flick a few years back.)
For Giamatti, he's more of a character actor anyway yet still is variants of the same character. Chucklehead wise-cracking sidekick.
i officially hate you. The bad Norton movie you speak of must be The Italian Job. You could tell he didn't want to do that piece of poop and he must have been under contract. HOWEVER, He's good enough to work with DENIRO
Let me list his great performances:
25th Hour
Keeping the Faith
The Score
Fight Club
AMERICAN HISTORY X
Rounders
and my ALL TIME FAVORITE:
PRIMAL FEAR.
Note: I heard Death to Smoochy was actually sheer genius.

i saw this movie this weekend. it was a lot better than i thought it would be. i thought it was great. sure, it's a little slow b/c there is more acting than dialogue (finally) but it was great. the music was awesome, it was shot BEAUTIFULLY and Paul Giamatti was awesome. So was Ed Norton. Luckily, Biel has a somewhat smaller role so it's okay - she was okay in her scenes nonetheless. It's not the greatest movie of all time or anything, but I recommend it.
