That token deal opened the door and closed behind them. I wouldn't want to leave there without the money either.
Didn't it seem like the tubby Smartie didn't close the door all the way?
Also, on the little interview segments, I get a weird feeling. Obviously any reality show that has those interview deals they are filmed after the show and producers script the questions to get the responses they want. Was it just me or were the Smarties talking as if they were so close to it they were going to win, Southies were down but they're not out... but nothing from Air Force about winning.
Therefore, HECK's conclusion based on nothing is: Air Force wins.
I have no idea who wins... haven't heard anything. Can't wait though.
Yes, when the geniuses went in that shaft, that took them down the winding stairs... the last guy didn't shut it all the way. But, that might be because the camera guy has to follow behind?

Last night on Treasure Hunters, there were only three teams left, who will win the treasure?
The teams depart the bed and breakfast, Teams Air Force, Southie Boys and Geniuses all ponder winning the treasure. They are very close. The teams are clued in that every artifact that they have received will help them unlock the treasure. The teams much reach the Library of Congress in Washington DC to find their next clue.
At the Library of Congress, team Southie Boys arrive first, they have to find one of three books- "Poltroons and Patriots", "Official Histories", or "The American Flag: Of Stars and Stripes". Being that the Library of Congress is the largest library in the world, finding three specific books is no easy task. Basically team Southie Boys just piss around for the longest time running from one place to the other doing nothing. They just wander around with no clue as where to begin. Team Genius arrive 2nd, immediately the Southie Boys try to latch onto team Genius. While this is going on, Team Air Force breezes in, finds the Card Catalog and find the book, in like 3 minutes. They knock down several books while grabbing the book, but it turns out the clue is behind the stack of books. After finding the book, team Air Force rushes off to the printing press, which is located in the Library of Congress, they used the antique machine to quickly print off a map. They use the directions to print a map of the Battle of Baltimore that was used during the War of 1812.
Meanwhile team Southie Boys are writing clues on their hands and arms. One of them remark that they should have went to the library while they were in school. Too late now!! At the printing press, team Air Force jets off. Team Genius finds the book they carefully select the book from the shelf, careful not to disturb the other books at the historical site. The Southie boys are shown looking for Team Genius instead of looking for the book. They discuss quitting, since clearly they have lost there lead and there marbles being in the big intimidating Library of Congress. Team Genius search for the printing press, and quickly finds it. They head off for Fort McHenry.
The Southie Boys continue to declare their hate for the library, unfortunately none of the other teams can hear them, since they have gotten the clue and rushed off. Only the cameramen and producers can hear them. Finally the producers feel sorry for them and give them the clue, they print the map and jet off, a long way away from the other teams that have surged ahead.
Team Air Force stops at a fire station, and look on Ask.com, they no longer have access to the laptop. Meanwhile Team Genius has surged ahead and are in first place. At Ft. Mc Henry, they get in a boat, and give the captain the destination they wish to go, it is dark as they set sail. They are searching for the Truce Ship that Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner on. Team Genius finds the Truce Ship first, and they think they are looking for a word to open the cryptex . Unfortunately they get inside the cabin of the boat, only to find a glass pane with the words "The Treasure is not here, it is right in front of you" underneath of it. They get back in there boat and soon find a large building with Key Industries written on it above an American Flag. They are then clued in on finding a hidden chamber in the building and must solve the clue on the cryptex to win the Treasure.
The Southie Boys have not given up. Team Air Force is in the boat, they find the Truce Ship, and then head for the clue that is right in front of them. Team Southie Boy finally makes it to the boat. Team Genius arrives at a large outside staircase, they decide to go ahead and climb it. It is large and deserted. Team Genius looks around everywhere, one of them finds it, and it is a small chamber and goes down the spiral staircase and sees a door. They have reached the inner chamber; they are so close to the treasure.
Air Force is searching for the building, they see it, and arrive 2nd at the building, they are scurrying around trying to find the chamber, then they see Southie Boys climbing the outside staircase.
Stay tune next week for the Live finale. Apparently all of the teams are in the chamber, and must now figure out the cryptex. So that means all of the teams saw the room, saw the clues, and then were taken out of the room. But now they will be brought back to the same room to solve the clue? That seems odd to me, wouldn't the team that arrived at the room have the advantage?

"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
The skinny one is a doofus for sure. Bugs. Those guys could pull it out. It's down to just figuring out a five letter puzzle. You would think they have the advantage.
