What I like: The Office, Scrubs, 24, Dennis Leary, Keifer Sutherland, Jamie Pressley, Gergory Itzin, Jean Smart, Steve Carell, Kevin James and Andre Braugher all getting nominated in their respective categories.

What I don't like: anything involved with Malcom In The Middle, Will & Grace or The Sopranos. The first two series I mentione sputtered out long ago and should have been cancelled ages before they were. With The Sopranos, what, they do barely half a season and all of a sudden they get all those nods? Boo. My Name Is Earl & Jason Lee getting snubbed? Bad form. No Battlestar Galactica? Rigged.

Edward James Olmos and the chick who plays the president were nails, too. But look how long it took the Emmy people to even give credit to Comedy Central or F/X. Maybe in a few years...

That's very true... and I believe that we might see that happen, eventually. All in good time, eh?

I wouldn't mind American Idol winning the reality-competition one.

Meh, it probably will, but I liked Amazing Race this season. Survivor was solid too. I think those two had one of their best seasons to date.

I didn't watch the Amazing Race... but, I watched the beginning, and ending of Survivor. It was good! Still, I think that AI pulled in many more viewers this season (thanks to such a vast difference in the people). Don't know if that will help it win the award.

Psssssst.... check your pm's Heck!

Exactly my thoughts, the ratings could have a lot to do with it. Hope not, Amazing Race was pretty dope. Not saying AI was bad though. Who knows. I remember AR beat out season 1 of The Apprentice, which dominated the ratings.

I will check...
