With the teams going throught to the next round not quite what I had imagined I feel that I should put a new set of predictions for these teams, considering some of the ones I picked went out.
Germany vs. Sweden - - Germany
Argentina vs. Mexico - - Argentina
England vs. Ecuador - - England
Portugal vs. Holland - - Holland
Italy vs. Australia - - Australia
Switzerland vs. Ukraine - - Switzerland
Brazil vs. Ghana - - Brazil
Spain vs. France - - Spain.
(It is probably better to do this round by round so you have a better chance of being right for rsults after the first elimination round.)

I have been severly let down by Holland and Switzerland and now have come to my worst ever run as a pundit. Three losses in a row. I normally manager to get the majority right and very few wrong but both Holland and Switzerland have been terrible and gone out. The Aussies can't really be blamed for their loss but the other two can.
The major point of Switzerlands match is that if Alexander Frei had stayed on he would have burried his penalty andthe Swiss manager got it totally wrong when he took Frei off.
Although Chelsea's 30 million pound striker Shevshenko was useless and made a horrible mess of his penalty again.
