Okay... we recorded last nights show, which was two hours, and just watched it tonight. I have to say I'm all for this one.

I absolutely love the Air Force team... I like that it's that chick, with her husband, and best friend. They just seem to work well together.

Least favorite team: The Fogels. They are the christian family. I don't like people who use religion as an excuse. "Oh we might do things that are dishonest, but we will just ask for forgiveness later." What a crock of crap. Just say that you're going to cheat, and be nasty, and that's all there is to it. One of the chicks from the "Grad Students" team had the box in her hands, when they had to dive to get it, and the pastor just swam up to her and took the map from her hands. That's NASTY in my opinion. And the wife is a biotch. Their daughter is a wimp. I hope that they are gone, soon.

I totally thought that the Browns would be gone... the first team eliminated. They weren't, and that was awesome. Way to go.

I recorded and watched yesterday, for the 2 hour pilot I have to say I enjoyed it. Shades of Amazing Race, to be sure. As for the show's dynamic, the contestants are not 'on their own' as much as I would have liked. Sure, there are incorrect choices they can make but nothing that will just totally screw them up. The clues are relatively easy to decipher and some you could strait out guess.

The host is kind of lame and appears on their cell phone to deliver clues and send them on their way.

As for the show itself, I want it to be more difficult and physically demanding. I want to see penalties for those who cannot complete the physical challenges. There need to be harder clues and less of a safety net. For instance, on this episode, you have to figure out where to go on this map and tell the helicopter pilot. There are about 15 locations on this map. If you asked to be taken to the wrong place he says 'no'. But one team just rattled off a bunch of names until they got the right one. I say take them to the wrong place and drop them off for an hour, let people get ahead.

Now, onto the contestants. The Wild Hanlons have to be the biggest hicks on the face of the Earth. With the leader, his mullet in tow, the father, son and uncle looked under every rock, trash can and any jackass spot you can think of looking for clues. Once the kid leads them in the right spot, the dingus father starts hitting random numbers in the box based on addition and multiplication he's pulling out of his backside. "Oh, there are three rocks, times that by Washington being the first president, add his two eyebrows and subtract my brain cells..." Angered me.

The Brown family are extremely out of shape and had to be helped a few times. I don't think those that are not physically able to complete the challenges should be allowed to be helped and keep up with everyone else. Not fair at all.

The Churchy family, forget their name, are asses. Another jeebus loving, double-talking, holier than thou reality show staple. They'll be gone soon enough.

Air Force and Ex-CIA are going to be tough to beat. Southie Boys will be right there, too.

Miss USA, Browns, and Geniuses are not long for this game.

I will totally watch the next episode and expect it to kick things up a notch.

The Wild Hanlons are dumb as rocks... and those kids should NOT have given them the code. They are idiots... who were looking under every rock, and stick. I was cracking up.

I agree.. there should be penalties for teams... and they should have been taken to the wrong places, and lost time, like when the bus driver took those two teams to the wrong place.

I believe that we're going to see the challenges get progressively harder, as each week goes by. But, it won't just be physically... it will be mentally as well. There is going to have to be some serious brain power on some of the challenges.

Yeah, I totally expect it to get harder. Between the physical stuff and mental challenges, that should thin the herd quite a bit.

The Hanlons were just cracking me up. Diving in every crevase they saw, picking up trash, I was busting up. The Miss USA chicks are going to bug, talking about using their looks to get ahead. Lame.

I know it's the first episode, but the show can't hold their hands as much. Cut em' loose.

Oh yeah, the Miss USA chicks were idiots... and whiners. "What, is it over?" And then whining until the Wild Hanlons helped them find the tube.

I'm really wondering if the teams are allowed to pull things from other people.
First, the Pastor and his family steal from the Grad Students (which are the hot chicks from here... San Diego).
Then, another team, can't remember who... steals the box from the Grad Students (they got hit twice in one night), and gets the thing in there (where the plane crash site was).

Lets hope that they make it longer...

It's more than that... because you have to decipher clues.

Yes, it's really good.

They are repeating the opener this Fri, and Sat... on NBC!
It's going to be on Monday nights...

Hey Heck, didn't you love how the five teams didn't know about the other five, until they arrived at the Lincoln memorial? That was funny as hell... some of the looks on their faces.

Oh yeah! That was freakin' classic. They all ran around the corner and stared at each other. Excellent, I was cracking up. Imagine you're digging through the ice in Alaska thinking you just have to beat four other teams, then five other teams- 15 people- haul ass at you. Good spin for sure.

Totally....

Ohhhhh, were you wondering if they all saw the clue, on the block of ice?
When that chickie from the Miss USA team started busting the block, right there, I was wondering if she saw it, or not.

I figured a few of them missed it and it would cost them. Didn't really slow anyone down though.

I guessed the code on the box at Mt. Rushmore... for the most part.
