Jack's dad, in Ana Lucia's flashback story, went to a house, and wanted to see his daughter. It showed the mom, but not the kid.
So much coincidence happens on this show, some of think the daughter might be Claire. Also, Jack acts kind of goofy around Claire, like he is a brother figure rather than a boyfriend figure.
And the flashback was in Australia... so, we know that the child is an Aussie.... and we think she's a bit older. So, that would bring ANOTHER connection to the show.
Anyway... I think that it would be cool if they had been able to set something up with IMDB. Wouldn't that be something?
And yes, Jack is one of the "Good" ones, because the others seem to want 'good' people.

Wow! I haven't read all these posts but I just want to say....
As soon as I saw the picture I thought it was him (Matthew Fox). Then after studying it for a minute I am not so sure, but at first glance absolutely thought it was him.
I am thinking it is really a long shot to think Claire is Jack's sister. What about the time line. Has anyone researched when Ana Lucia was with Jack's Dad compared to when Claire was wherever she was....etc.... I will look on some other sites. I will be suprised if it is true. Maybe they could introduce a new character that would be Jack's sister. That would be cool.
O.K. I guess other people think Claire is Jack's sister too.
