One of the reviews on the AI board thought that she missed the notes because her dress was very tight. The musician said that she didn't support with her diaphragm and that is why the notes were lost. I would love to hear Darci's take on this.

Okay... over all, I really think that Kat was better tonight.
I don't like either of their singles. WHY can't they get better songs?
Last... I don't like all the "Soul Patrol" shout outs. Saying it once, is enough. It's overkill.
No matter who wins tomorrow night... and takes the title of American Idol... they are both winners, in my eyes.
I think that Simon would be VERY happy to have Taylor win, so that he can get Kat on his label.
Also, I do NOT like all the comments, about Taylor, from Randy and Paula, at the end, about how THEY put him through, etc... that was like a little "extra" push for him... where as I don' think that Kat got any "pimping."

Overall - the last two songs were absolutely terrible. Taylor did his best to get out of the trap AI had made for the two contestants.
What was AI thinking? Those songs were formulated pseudo-TOP 40 crap that didn't fit either of these performers. I believe you could really see that Kat felt defeated by that song.... tight dress or not, she made hardly an effort to escape from the confines of a song that I can't envision any big artist wanting to perform right now (accept maybe Clay Aiken). Mushy lameness.
I really hope these songs don't represent the music they are going to release on their albums. Where was the soul??
Everyone at work today was saying the same thing, Marc. Their songs were horrible... and if THAT is the crap that they will have on an album, this is one person who won't spend a penny. That stuff made me wanna drink liquid Drain-o and stick my head in the toilet.
