that Kat wins this. No not because I am a huge Kat fan although she is probably the best singer that was on the show vocally, but because I can't stand Taylor. The man is fake and annoying. The only really good performance I saw him do was You Are So Beautiful To Me. Other than that he shoudl have been gone a LONG time ago!
I think that the same thing can be said about Katharine. She's plastic on stage... and everyone sees that. But, it's just a matter of personal opinion.
Personally, I could give a rats butt about who becomes the next American Idol. Chris was voted off, and that's when I stopped caring. But, each person has a right to their views, and opinions.

Yeah I was going for Chris myself. I am sick of girls hating on Katherince though because she looks so good. She clearly has the best voice out of her and Taylor. Taylor really isn't a good singer whatsoever.

Kat has no emotional connection to the song. She smiles through sad songs! That is a huge problem. She has a great broadway style voice, but I'd pick Taylor any day.
Kat is very beautiful, but I judge someone by the voice I hear on the MP3. All this stuff about women being jealous is just ridiculous. Honestly, why would I hate someone for being beautiful? I used to like Kat, but her lack of connection to the lyrics is what turned me off along with the inappropriate smiling. Taylor's soulful voice is far more appealing to me.

I'm sorry that you may have thought I was talking about you. I wasn't I'm talking bout women I know IRL. First thing they say is "She's not that pretty." than go on to say about how much they don't like her.
On the other point. I'm not sure what your idea of soul is, but Taylor is very far from it.

Taylor did not name the Soul Patrol. It was started by 5 people on the American Idol board. Why soul? Because his music and his connection made us feel the music, it touched our souls.
