I liked Bucky singing Fat Bottomed Girls. The way he sang was different but didn't ruin the song. But I wish he'd ended with "Get on your bikes and ride!" instead of "Hey!"
Ace's We Will Rock You wasn't very rocky. He had fun singing it, but it needed to be tougher. I always thought it should have almost a grunge feel to the beginning, but that might just be me.
Kellie on Bohemian Rhapsody was awesome on the beginning, but I don't think it worked with so much of the song cut out and I didn't like the middle and end as much as the entrance.
Chris singing Innuendo wasn't any good. Maybe it was just the song, because there wasn't any musicality in that song, it was just a bunch of loudness. At least we know he can be loud
Katharine with Who Wants To Live Forever? was one of my favorites last night and the song fit her look. She looks like she is more a singer of ballads than rock songs, and those of you who have watched more episode than me can tell me if I'm right. Anyway, she sounded nice.
Elliott with Somebody to Love was okay. It felt like he was just a split second away from coming in late for most of the song. I thought that the end would have been better if it was clean instead of with all those whatchamacallits with the last few notes. There's probably a term for it--when the singer holds the last note and goes up and down the scale a bit.
Taylor singing Crazy Little Thing Called Love did well with the singing but needs to STOP WIGGLING SO MUCH Man that guy had energy. I did like the stair hops, though.
Paris singing The Show Must Go On was my favorite. Just AWESOME. I was so impressed after she finished that I wrote a series of "Wow! That was cool! She rocked that song. Awesome. Good job!" all through my notes under her name
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
It was really nice, Sherry... great point! I like hearing someone without any prejudice, one way, or the other. Like Gwen, who watches AI... but didn't know any Queen songs. Thanks for the review Pip!
