The Plot: A deer buddies up with a domesticated grizzly bear when the two animals are alone in the woods during hunting season. Meanwhile, a forest ranger who raised the bear, embarks on a desperate search to find her friend.
THE BUZZ: Coulton, a former storyboard artist for Pixar, teams up with animator Stacchi for Sony Pictures Animation, who precede this film with Monster House, their debut. And while the escaped/lost animal idea seems a little worn down, count on Steve Bencich and Ron Friedman (Chicken Little, Brother Bear) to create a refreshing story for their extra-lively cast.
