-HECK!
Bush haters only care about WMD, removing our troops and never going to war again without the approval of the world first.
Their (your) reasoning is that WMD was the sole reason for going into Iraq and it was NOT the sole reason. It is simple in their minds. Not so simple in reality.
Saddam was a murderer who needed to be stopped and I believe the majority of Iraqis are thankful for his removal.
However, today, much to everyone's surprise, Iraqi people are of such religious conviction that they no longer care about Saddam. Now it is how can we put somebody in power so we all get rich from the oil. That's pretty much how I see it. Many don't care about other muslims being murdered now and only seem to care who will control the oil.
Who would have thought that greed and power would still be sought out by those very same people who were oppressed and murdered?
Given a chance at a new united Iraq which would put poeple in a better position of freedom to live, has now turned into a greedy struggle for money and religious deception?
I guess my thoughts on the abiltiy of Iraqi people to live in tolerance was mistake. I am now under the impression that the middle-east countries are a backward people without any concern for others, including other muslims unless of coarse it lines their pockets. Even when there were supporters of an American invasion, they now are just greedy manipulators.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, I can't, and won't agree with that comment, in ANY way. I don't like Bush, at all, and I don't care about WMD... that's not my focus, at all. I also don't believe that there should never be war.
But hey... I guess we're all entitled to our opinions... even if you want to categorize people.

okay, war in Iraq was never considered a humanitarian intervention (though Bush tried to pull it off like one, "liberating Iraqi people", etc.).
But if any intervention could be justified, the situation in the region should be better after the intervention. You cannot really say that about iraq. to me it seems there was no coherent plan to rebuild iraq. this war resulted in having yet another collapsed country in the middle east.
I don't care for non-existent WMDs. I care for the humanity.
and about Iraqi people... they were no way ready for democracy. it's not enough to overthrow the opressing regime, you must ensure that the judical and govermental (sp?) system of the country is rebuild, as not to create vacuum.
bush did not do that.
I never paid much attention, guess I shoulda known

the world is big enough, there should be room for us all
who are they and why do they hate us?
