Taylor Hicks thanks listed for In Your Time album.
"First, I would like to thank God for giving me the strength and ability to entertain and carry on with life's ups and downs. I would also like to thank the band FlETCH for putting up with mood swings, whoever you are at the time. Thanks to the southern folk who believe in the soul and understand that's where music comes from. This is my first album and hopefully not the last. Thank You.
Personal Thanks-My mother for the vibe, Dad, grandmother, Cook, Spoonful James, Mitch Parker, The Blacks, John Brandt, and the War Eagle Supper Club and those folks who know who they are and have given me confidence to carry on."
Taylor Hicks: "Soul Patrol is a legion of fans that were with me right from the very beginning when I was a gray headed guy in Las Vegas and they stuck with me through thick and thin and I am the Soul Patrolman, so hopefully I can keep patrolling the soul."
"Some people grew up in close-knit families,
they could identify with the sugar-coated, new-wave
music that was popular in the 80s and even now. My
home life wasnt very supportive or comfortable - with
divorce (among other misfortunes). I had to make
life-changing choices at an early age. And the whole time,
I was listening to soul music - music where you can actually
hear a man's heart break. So it just really made sense to me
even at such a young age."
