Band Aid Covers the Bullet Hole
The doctors are up to their necks in their usual levels of drama. Meredith is dealing with the backlash of sleeping with George, George and Burke are bonding in ways that bother and creep out Cristina, Cristina gets stuck on diaper duty, Bailey gets involved in a case even though she's still supposed to be on maternity leave, Addison and Derek have a talk, and Izzie is still flaking on Alex for Denny Duquette, the heart patient who didn't get a heart. In the patients-of-the-week department we've got a very pregnant woman, a hockey player who desires medically unnessasary amputation, a woman with a fork in her neck, and a dying woman with a struggling marriage.
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain

I like them together, too. But she needs to be more professional and not go out with him while he is still her patient. As soon as he is out, I hope they hook up and go on a not-confined-to-his-hospital-bed picnic

I have a feeling that he is going to die. She could date him while he is in the hospital but ask Burke to reassign her due to her feelings for him. I can't stand Alex.
I don't like Alex very much, but he does have his moments. Getting enjoyment out of doing that shocker thing to Denny was NOT one of them After he did that I just gave up on him. Forget him, Izzy!

Ron watched part of the show with me last night. He predicted that the Hockey player would somehow damage his hand so badly that it would end his career.
I like that Burke and George are becoming friends. Christina drives me nuts. She is a witch.
Oh, and when I heard the baby cry, I knew he was hungry. Yep, it is a mommy thing. You can tell a hungry cry, a wet cry or a pain cry.
I am going to be so upset if they kill off Denny. I really like him.
I like Christina, but she's just no good with babies. I'm the same way. Once I picked up my perfectly jolly baby cousin and as soon as he was in my arms he burst into a mornful lament.
George and Burke were boasting about five miles in 50 minutes? That is not fast That's how fast I run and I'm always in the back of the pack. It's more like a trot than a real run
I'm glad that Mer and Derek are friends, just so long as they can keep it that way. He was hurt when he found out about George, but he put it behind him quickly enough to show that he really wants to be her FRIEND, not her ex.

Crying babies, I don't what kind of cry it is...because I have no and I mean no aptitude for telling the difference...well, crying babies give me the "fight or flight" syndrome. I either run out of Walmart or beat the crap out of the mother. I always opt for the former option for two reasons: I don't like jail and the baby needs a mother. Nonetheless, crying babies do a number on me.
I am a newbie to this show. I have alot of catching up to do. A start would be reading all the posts in this forum. Too lazy.
And last night, I only saw the last 20 minutes because I HAD to finish episode #21 of Season 1 of the Gilmore Girls last night and bring it to my co-worker this morning or that big gal would have jumped me.
My comments on this last 20 minutes.
Mr. Dreamy showed some class. George needs to forgive Meredith or his anger will turn into a root of bitterness and he will die not only alone, but unhappy.
