"Europe, you will pay with your blood" post #1  quote:

This from the demonstrations in Denmark.

Now, this IS freedom of speach at it's finest. At one point, you can hear a man claiming his freedom of speach in the background.

To me, these are the people who need to be exported to a country that shares their viewpoint. I say hall them to the airport and send them packing.

I'd like to see a video of US rednecks (hope it's ok to use this term, no offence intended but it is a recognised name) demonstrating about.......what would they get passionate about......what could they be whipped into a hateful frenzy about ?

There is a connection between the type of people that can be motivated into bitter reprisals. Those without a strong cultural foundation, those that have lost their cultural foundation, those that feel 'out of place' and marginalised, those living in harsher conditions than others around them, etc, etc. Certain groups of people are more easily intimidated than others, the media know what strings to pull, advertising and manipulation is their business and they are experts.

I used to post on INReview before and during the invasion of Iraq (cant remember who i was then, i had to re-register) and the venom that was then been spat towards 'the enemy' was just as nasty as what we are seeing on the news, it's just the environment of release for those thoughts that is different. Some people post on forums, others take to the streets, those that take to the streets are more likely to be influenced to take physical action further, but that just seems to be human nature at this point in history.

People who dont know themselves or who they really are, are more likely to try to change others to be 'less different'. If people had a real sense of worth or value, for example if they were living in tight communities where everyone was valued equally to maintain that community, then i do not think we would see this outpouring of fear and desire to change other peoples communities and cultures.

I truly believe that we've had at least 100 years of serious study into social psycology and that the government/military and media (who all employ the best psycologists !) know exactly how to manipulate and divide people on mass.

Information originites in one cultural environment and is then exported to other cultures by the media. By this time the information is already offered whole, without the real experience of its source or understanding of those that motivated it. Transplanting cultural information is a recipe for misunderstanding in the first place without the added catalyst of dissafected people recieving that information and trying to incorporate it into their world view and their dissafected experience of life.

I'm not defending violence of any sort, just saying that the human condition should be what we are worried about with these demonstrations and not the information that fuels them.

Basically "Mass Hysteria" then?
Too bad mass hysteria can't be used for a calming affect.
"Mass pacifism".

So the mental capacity for unterstanding and tolerance is missing from their upbringing and leads them to be undenying followers of whatever they are told? Hmmm.

Redneck is not a term that normally applies to hate groups or any group at all for that matter. It is an endeering term for those who drive pick-up trucks and aren't from a "hippie" type culture. A cowboy in some cases may be considered a Redneck.
Some call Country Music fans Rednecks although that is not really true or accurate.
Anyway, it's normally not as derogatory as say, Skin Head or the KKK.
