The biggest Gangsta(Bush) on the planet, plays golf while major city is flooded; illegally spies on us; illegaly invades countries for oil; ignores Constitution; does buisness( seaports) with country said to have played major role of 9/11; made presidential election joke....ect.

I just finished reading Monster, and honestly, it was amazing. I never knew where the culture came from, and while i was watching rappers on TV, it diluted and demoralized the gangster culture. I realize that in previous years it was a struggle to survive, but I was just wondering if you could shed some light on some of the things that gangs are doing to improve the community nowadays.

The form of music you speak of is Hip Hop. There are as many gansters as the other musical forms: rock & roll, country, heavy medal, opera...etc. Have you heard heavy medal? concert?
The media labeled labled a rap group called ******s With Attitude ( NWA) because they were exposing the Katrina- like conditions in then Comptom (CA) and how the police was treating Compton citzens ( remember Rodney King).
******s With Attitude are not Hip Hop. Listen to these rap arttist and then form your opinion: Tupac, Public Enemy, KRS 1, Rakim, The Roots, Nas, Jay Z, Mos Def, Talib Qali, Common, Big Daady Kane....
