The nurses at Seattle Grace Hospital go on strike, leaving the doctors to fend for themselves; Meredith's mistake in treating an elderly patient is brought to light by the patient's friends (June Lockhart, Betty Garrett and Rae Allen) and Izzie treats a pregnant teen.
Those old ladies were a hoot! "she's batting her eyelashes at him" "may she rest in peace".
Poor Meredith. You could see how hard it was for her to care for that old lady when she knows that her mom will die early from Alzheimers.
Izzy! Wow. She had a kid at 16. She kept it a secret AND had no stretchmarks to prevent her from doing lingeree modeling.
George was cute last night. I loved the last part of the show where they climb into bed with him, and he goes "anyone want to have sex?" and they all laugh.
It's so cool that this show is set so near to where I live. I can watch this show and go, "Hey, that's the town that Mom grew up in!" or, "Wow, I went to a party there!" or, "Hey, that's where Grandma and Grandpa live." Cool
This was a sad episode. I was crying with Merideth when she ran into the closet.
We lost the tv reception for a few seconds, so I was spared a little bit of the annnoying Bailey stand-in. Thank you for that, wind!
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
Hehehe, mom and I were talking about which of the interns we think are from the NW and which aren't, and I said that Izzy was from a trailer park behind a church in Chehalis, Washington. Mom told me that my uncle owns a trailer park in Chehalis. How cool would it be if he owned the one that Izzy is supposed to have grown up in? I'll have to ask him if it's behind a church.
