His guilt was never proven? A jury of his peers found him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt

1 percent of jury pool was black? trial prisecutor compared Williams to Bengal Tiger? But this is wrong post to make argument.

TW was California's (most populated state) 12th execution. How can anyone defend Texas?

I'm not defending Texas. I'm personally saying that if you commit a heinous crime, that the punishment should fit... and that the death penalty fits that of such a crime as TW commited.

Remember the Alamo!!

I'm sorry but I had to put that, one of the few bit of American history I know.

probably has nothing to do with this thread what-so-ever

Easy -- if you commit a crime worthy of receiving the death penalty, then stand ready to meet your fate.

Don't Mess With Texas!

What about the innocent who are not worthy of death? fate determine because unable to afford good lawyer? DNA?

Instead of that tired old deflection, why don't you answer the reverse of the question.

What if the guy is a serial killer, caught in the act, and fully confessed to the crime?

Would you support the death penalty then?

Georgia urged to suspend death penalty

ABA is publishing 323- page report saying Georgia should place moratorium on use of death penalty because of fairness.

ABA is nation's largest legal organization

Report says race remains a factor. Convicted murderers of white victims much more likeky to receive a death sentence than murderers of black victims

Georgia is only state that does not guarantee a lawyer for inmate

Surveys show jurors misunderstand judge's instructions about the evidence they can consider in death penalty case.

Only state that makes defendents prove retardation beyond reasonable doubt- higest burdon of proof.
