I have known many songwriters who have went to their tablets and wrote down exactly what they felt like that very day completely in song verse. In our creative writing class, we call songwriting, "Writing under the influence". Here are some examples of songwriters who have done this:
Rod Temperton :
Wrote "The Lady in my life while infatuated with this woman below:
who is Russian actress Marina Neyolova. Rod never completely admitted to having written it about her.
Jim Morrison
Wrote Hello I love you while staring at a beautiful girl on the beach. He never chased her down or ever got her name.
George Harrison
Wrote And I love her after meeting future wife Pattie Boyd.
You must turn on, tune in and drop out.
Timothy Leary
