HECK said this in post #7 : Tom Brady should go to hell.
Favre, as sad as it sounds, probably should retire soon. You just hate to see such a stud go out like he did this season. No touchdown passes in like 5 games? Horrible.

Ya, really depressing. I really like Favre. In fact, it really got me liking the whol stinking Packers team. They are just bad though, and the injuries really don't help him do anything. I feel bad for the guy, but I think if he continues, he's going to tarnish his legacy.
He has his ring, he's a two time league MVP, he is a hands down first ballot Hall Of Famer. I don't know what else Favre has to prove. The Packers already showed that they are not interesting in getting players to achieve success now. They are building for the future and Favre just is not apart of that future.
I'm with Heck... it's time for him to retire. He's done everything. And now, he's going downhill... time to step out, before it's a really bad embarrassment to himself, and the team (if this season isn't already just that).

A big part of me wants him to wash the stink of this season off and come back for one more, but what's the use? They make it to the first round of the playoffs at best then get eliminated. The Packers won't be a Super Bowl caliber team next season and probably not for a few. Time to rebuild without Favre.
But let's not forget that a slew of injuries really stifled an otherwise above par Packers team in a division that no one really pulled ahead of until after midway through the season. Even after going 1-4 the Vikings were still in the playoff hunt. Ahman Green and Javon Walker went down, and without your #1 running back and wide out you're not going to do much offensively. While Favre did play horrible this year it wasn't all his fault.
Regardless, I don't think he'll be remembered for this season. And so what if he goes to another team for a year. I mean, do we think of Namath retiring as a Ram? Unitas as a Charger? Nope, but they did.
