The man who tried to assassinate President Ronald Reagan will be allowed visits to his parents' home without supervision, a federal judge ruled Friday. The judge said John Hinckley "is not permitted to leave one or both parents' supervision at any time during the course of the conditional release," unless his hospital prescribes time away. Hinckley has been in treatment at St. Elizabeths Hospital, in Washington, D.C., since being found not guilty by reason of insanity for the 1981 assassination attempt on Reagan.
