I know I am late, but get the final episode a few days after you guys and I just want to add my two cents.
I thought Steph should have won, Danni didn't deserve it, she was carried the whole way to the merge and then some. Steph was the fiercest competitor and I thought that the jury would overlook the back-stabbing in favour of voting the person who "outplayed, outlasted, outwitted" all of them, which was obviously Steph.
Steph shouldn't have let Lydia go, then Steph would've won immunity. I didn't understand why she voted Lydia out AT ALL.
Rafe was a fool, backing down from his alliance with Danni. Alliances are all about screwing other people and what's the point if you're not going to follow through the minute it actually comes to that? I can see he was effected by how Steph took losing the immunity challenge, but still, he had a final two guaranteed and he gave that up. Idiot.
Didn't the girls both look better with a bit of meat on their bones at the reunion? Shame about all the paint on their faces and the big hair, but they both looked heaps better with a bit of food in them.
Did anyone get really peeved about the footballer who said he wasn't a footballer? I missed most of the reunion, it was passed my bedtime.

I completely agree with you Schmiggens!
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

I don't know about that. Danni bought the challenge clue that saved her. She beat Rafe and Steph for the final immunity, she stepped up when it counted. If anything, it's Steph's fault for not getting Danni out earlier. Steph was the ringleader and dropped the ball on that one. In the end, she stabbed everyone in the back and lost by a landslide. So how did she outwit anyone?

-HECK!
I still laugh at the "she backstabbed everyone" routine. What she did was stay with the majority...I would have done the same thing, especially knowing that the person was destined to be voted out anyhow.
She wasnt so much the ringleader as Rafe was. He really called most of the shots...and it was his idea to go for others before Danni.
Lets not forget about others that backstabbed as well. Its not like she was the only one...but for some reason she is targeted as the only one who did it.
I mean were some of you watching the same show I was?
She might have had a hand up but I would not have claimed her as a "leader." There were others calling the shots before her.
Dont get me wrong..I am not upset by the fact that Danni won, but if I had to say who I thought deserved it the most...I would have voted Stephanie.
The reason that Danni won by a landslide is because people placed blame on Stephanie...but its like I said...you can form an alliance with 6 people as they did originally..but only 2 can get to the end and only 1 wins. So ultimately, there were gonna people with "hurt feelings." Its inevitable....so why all of a sudden at the end of the game does a moral issue come to play, when in the end, they would have all done the same thing to one another.
They were just pissed because she did what they could not do.
What a bunch of big babies.

"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
Pip, seems like I haven't seen you in a while, whattup
Mys, I hear you. But Steph and Rafe were both on the alliance and when that dude was sent packin' she was left with the mess she helped stir. To be honest, if her or Rafe would have won that final challenge it would have gone so different. She was too weak to beat Danni, straight up. Backstabbing is all apart of the game. Plus, all these people are total weenies to begin with
If you go into a game of Survivor thinking you're going to get through it without:
a) stabbing someone else in the back; or
b) getting stabbed in the back yourself
then you need a brain scan.
That's what the game is about. You can't have ONE survivor without someone getting screwed over. It's impossible for everyone to win. I would've done pretty much what Steph did.
Yeah, but you gotta be smart. The trick is to betray someone and have them smiling. I tell you, if it wasn't for all the running and what not, I would rule this game.
