Well you cannot count Ronaldinho out he is actaully getting better game by game, and anyone that can ply football with that smile on thier face is a star in my book.

If he plays though I will go for Leo Messi only a kid yet one of the most gifted players I think I have ever seen.

I think Messi will get a lot of press over here, even though most Americans have never heard of him

I think Ronaldino is probably the best bet.

I think that Rooney will either underperform or get injured or suspended every other game. It is likely that France will be a flop again since Henry cannot do it on the international stage.

Kewel or Viduka might do well, or Emerton. Andres D'Alessandro, if Argentina pick him, or Arjen Robben who can be quite exceptional when he performs properly and doesn't fall over every two seconds.

Watch out for a player by the name of Hossan Kaebi a right back or a right midfielder. He plays for Iran and there are high hopes for the boy. I also think that Croatias Dado Prso will have a good WC I know somw of you might have heard of him but I see him play every week and a harder working player you will not find.

hmmm David Villa looked pretty good in Spain's opener. I can't wait to see the next game.

In truth I was impressed by Spain in general. They played how I expected Brazil to play.

Fernando Torres, Villa and Xabi Alonso will probably be the stars of that team.

Raul hasnt even played yet and Spain look like a team to be feared. Messi got some playing time though, a goal and an assist in a 6-0 dismantling of Serbia and Montenegro (it wouldve been 7 if not for a bad offside call)
