Do you disign the bird houses for different types of birds? like if you want a sparrow or a robin you would make it so or so sized?

No, this one is just a normal yellow. Though bright.

The lady said she had birds in her garage, and wanted a house for them, so it's going in a garage, at the top.

I guess she doesn't have a door on it, I dunno. Anyhow, she helped get me a bunch of free lumber, so I told her I would make one for her.

I put a 1.25 hole in it, and if they need it bigger, they just use their beak to whittle the hole bigger.

So, in theory, any bird could live in them. Though the robins and cardinals are big birds, so they might not be able to.

The rest of em, sure they could move in.

So far, I only have song sparrows living in that one birdhouse my mother in law made.

I have been told the birds will move into mine, in the spring time, when they have their eggs. So I am curious as to what kind of birds move in.

A lady at work. She puts the parts together that I machine, assembles them, and sends them onto another line.

I dont know much about what birds are around your area ... We get colard doves, and some smaller birds ... none nest but we have food out ...

why not have a few bigger holded boxes for the robins and cardinals ... or is 1.25 the biggest hole (biggest drill part) you can make?

I got a bunch of Squirrels. I worry if I make the hole too big, they will get in and run out the birds.

I don't know the biggest hole I can make without that happening, I guess I could research it on the net.

I am amazed at David's bird house building skills. I think he is becoming a good carpenter. He made us a deck to set the grill on. The neighbor who sold us this property uses that land back there for storage and junk. There is a big feild to the right of there that when Muffin and Winston accidently get let out together they take off for and stay gone for a couple of hours. There must be plenty of rabbits to chase there.

His birdhouses are awesome.

Wait until he makes ones with little shingles on the roof. He is going to keep growing with his skills. The birdhouses are really great.
